As a frequent buyer and consumer of the concealers, correctors, lip liners made by the same brand, I confess that these lip pigments have let my expectations down. Speaking of the quality of the product, it doesn't exist or even comes close to the brilliance of its renowned concealers.

I am well-aware that the liquid lipsticks are taking over the regular bulleted lipsticks in the beauty industry and each beauty brand, whether drugstore or high-end, is thriving to come up with a variety of liquid lipsticks to offer to their fans. In the reign of the drugstore liquid lipsticks, NYX SMLC and NYX Lip Suede takes my full remarks and the quality is up to the par in the drugstore cosmetic category. LA girl concealers not only triumphs the concealers made in its dept of make up industry but also, it also leaves NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer, MAC ProLong Concealer, Born This Way Concealers behind in terms of performance and longevity.

Anyway, lets not deviate from the topic anymore and jump back into reviewing the product under scrutiny; these LL settles into the fine lines of my lips and make them as dry as sand paper when it dries into a matte finish. The price point is something i would consider the positive merit, but again you get what you pay for, so there is that. I really admire the color collection this brand has to offer. There are so many colors that makes me sigh but the quality is zero. I would rather use my NYX lip cream or be a loyal consumer of KVD Everlasting LL.

Review for: Backstage, Playful, Rebel, Black Currant more...
I purchased 4 of the LA Girl Matte Pigment lipgloss's in (Playful, Backstage, Rebel, and Black Currant) and I did not like them at all. They are very dry on the lips, and it is so hard to take it off even with a makeup wipe. I would not recommend this to anyone. I did a review on these on my youtube page (MrsKnicoleB) you can go check out the review to see what it looks like when applied.

Not the biggest fan of this product to be completely honest. In general, it's just rather confusing. The product's label says that it is a gloss, however it preforms more like a mediocre liquid lipstick. I purchased the shade Black Current and have been disappointed each time I've worn. The color is a deep purple and looks beautiful in the packaging. Once applied however, it dries and became almost black on my lips. It applied patchy and didn't allow for a second coat. The product dried crackly and would fall apart if another layer was applied. The doe foot applicator is dead straight and made it difficult to get a sharp point or to apply evenly. Didn't look as bad with a base of lip liner but still wasn't stunning. Not sure if the other shades are as difficult to work with but for nearly $7 you can definitely buy a better product.

Let’s talk about the biggest negative about this lip gloss – the formulation! I really don’t know what LA Girl was thinking when they created such a formula for a lip product! Did they even test these out on some real ladies before they launched them? The formula is neither too runny, nor too thick. The consistency feels like a whipped mousse which makes it easy to apply on the lips. It glides on the lips nicely while it is wet and can be built upon, but it does get a lot more tacky and heavy on the lips as you build it. When this dries on the lips, it’s a disaster!! It gets into each and every line of the lips and emphasizes them so much. No amount of lip balm or exfoliation will ever help! By the way, who must have thought about calling this dud a “lip gloss?” It is anything but a lip gloss!

Pigmentation is on point. Exactly how you see it. You have to wait a couple seconds until it dries. Has a good amount of product and will last you all 24 months.

So I stumbled across this product today by accident and I could not resist purchasing it this color is absolutely gorgeous now when it comes to lip gloss I am really picky. Once I applied this it felt really nice on the lips and it was not stick at all it did not have any offending smells the Shimmer wasn't that predominant but I feel like you've used several layers of this you could have that added Shimmer that's in the lip gloss. I plan on using this as a Topper after I use Liquid lipstick.

Ok so I've been wanting a light pink longwear lip colour hat doesn't look like clown paint or unicorn kids play...not that both don't have a place and time but I want it for work. I have found the perfect rose golds, reds, neutrals, purples, peaches but not a pink for my light skin, blue eyes and blonde(ish) hair :/.
This formula looks like it's be a light to medium pink with a touch of violet base but it applies very pigmented, dark and intense. The colour is lovely and would be perfect if I had beautiful dark skin but alas, this most likely won't get much air time unless I find the right top coat! Cheers!

I really don't like this matte pigment lipgloss since it dries in a 'cracked lips' type of way.Its also hard to remove. My cousin gave me this so i'm happy i didn't have to purchase this and waste a few bucks on this thing.
