Kylie Cosmetics Metals
- "Coming from someone who once could never imagine wearing metallic lip color & rarely wore anything other than mattes. Heir has been my go to all summer long, I rarely reach for the same liquid lipstick more than once in a row because I have so many choices, but I love using heir and using it with different lip liners for different looks. I personally pair it with colourpop cosmetics liners because well.. We've all heard the rumors. Without a lip liner it's a little hard to make even so you have to layer it but it goes on nicely and doesn't get thick or sticky feeling. The applicator is the perfect size and so soft. The color is gorgeous and goes on sheer and is definitely buildable. Oh and they smell amazing, like cupcakes. I'll definitely be repurchasing when I run out! Unless of course a more budget friendly dupe pops up! " in 232 reviews
- "Hands down the best liquid lipsticks I have had ever ! They definitely passed my expectations and Kylie did an amazing job with the packaging. It drys super quick and kiss proof going to buy the rest of the shades!" in 121 reviews
- "I love my metals! Heir and king are my favorite. They don't dry down 100% matte, but they are still super long lasting anddd not as drying as a regular matte. I will continue to buy!! They look SO pretty on. " in 117 reviews

I love this color (reign, prob my favorite one) and I love the matte look. Actually, there are so many Kylie lip colors I love, especially the nude shades. she does a great job at creating a shade that goes with a wide range of skin tones. My best friend is Philippina with olive-to-yellow undertones undertones and I’m much paler with neutral-to-pink undertones and there are a lot of Kylie shades we both love at once. A single shade on both of use will look like 2 completely different tones but will work on each of us in its own unique way. This product is slightly expensive but not ridiculously so, and you get what you pay for. My least favorite thing about Kylie lips is HOW VERY DRYING THEY ARE. They go on wet but after a few minutes you can and will see every line in your crinkled little lip. To an extend, the drying effect is unavoidable with matte lip products, but it seems to be especially pronounce with Kylie products. Even though it is such an extremely dry effect, I only knocked off 1 star because you should just put a little clear gloss or something over it periodically, which is whatever. But all in all the shades are great and it WILL LAST AND LAST, so it’s still worth it to buy.

So while I like these, I don’t wear them much. I’ve seemed to have come out of the metallic lips phase I was in. But anyway, the formula on these is very nice and comfortable. They’re not quite as moussey as Colourpop metallics, but they’re not like a matte liquid lip either. They dry down about 3/4 of the way to limit transfer. So they’re not as transfer resistant or dry as like Milani Amore metallics, but they’re more resistant and not as wet as Colourpop. Over all, I like them and would recommend them if you want comfortable metallic lips. I don’t find that they’re patchy at all either. What you see in the tube is what you get.
Definitely a quality lip stick, it has good color, pretty decent staying power, and the website is clear and easy to use. However, the one thing that has me bring it down one star is that I’ve found it really dries out my lips and although I really like the lipstick, the price makes it hard to buy multiple. Overall though, I like the lipsticks a lot!
I love the formula and the color, but I feel like this product was very misleading in terms of what the actual product looks like. In the advertisement, the swatches on the models made it looks darker in pigment. When I received it, I was super excited but I was slightly disappointed on how it looked on me. It looks really pale and pastey. But if you have a much lighter skin tone, it would definitely be a cute pale peach.

When I saw all the rave about KC’s I jumped on the bandwagon and bought 3 tubes; Candy K, Reign and Kourtney K. I loved all the colors but Reign is metallic like and just gorgeous. The formula has a sweet vanilla cupcake like scent. The product is super easy to apply and looks gorgeous. However, I noticed that it can flake off throughout the day which is a downer to me. It’s never fun having flakes in your mouth. Other than that this product is beautiful.

I have the dancer metal lipstick from her 2016 holiday collection. It’s really pretty, but it’s not really worth buying. It’s exactly like a gloss and it’s hard to keep on. I tried to make it dry down but it didn’t work. When I tried to eat with it on it completely smeared all over my lips and stained everything a fuchsia shade.
i loved the models online it looked so pretty . but i bought it and it is half way filled , it looked like a nude color with glitter . when i put it o. it looked like i had put foundation on my lips and it was not pretty at all . i'm mixed do on me it made my fave looked washed out . it's sticky and clumpy . i wouldn't recommend it for lighter skin people . I love kc but this lip color is not for light skin or lighter people . i have used it only 2 times& it is almost out already :(
I found the formula to be extremely drying and made my lips looks very flaky. I don't know if it's just the liquid metals because I've used several other matte shades that were flawless but the metals did not go on as smooth. They also were streaky. Not bad as a top coat or something to put on the center of the lips over another shade. Probably would not purchase again but I don't regret the purchase.
I hate the color. Its unflattering, and I can't imagine a time or place anyone wants copper shimmer lips. The application is smooth and easy, and pleasant to apply. The formula is sticky and thick but not unpleasant to wear to my surprise. The tube is easy to hold in your hand, but again completely underwhelming. I would like to try more of a everyday color, and perhaps a formula that is not so thick and sticky as I presume their gloss is all like.. Over all I would try another color, perhaps a matte but this color was just not for me.

I like the metals from Kylie Cosmetics. They give off a very nice shine to them and they’re not drying at all like the matte formula. They’re easy to apply and they’re very pigmented which I like. I would recommend these but the only down side is that they don’t come in many shades so it’s possible that you might not like any of the available shades since there isn’t a big selection to pick from.
