I love adding these to my home made burgers. Gives it a taste as if i had added bacon to it. They are just the right amount of thickness to them. I love them.

If you like cheese on your BLTs this is a good one to go with just as a nice smoky flavor no aftertaste just the right amount of sharpness and I'm a sharp cheese kind of guy I don't know about melting cuz I use it for BLTs mostly but it's craft so you know it's going to melt great might be good on omelets could be very versatile I guess
