Question by Stacie H.
What are your thoughts on Vitamin C serums and "purging"? I recently purchased a product that contains 15% Vitamin C and began incorporating into my skincare routine. After about three days of use I started noticing these inflammed acne spots popping up around my hairline, jawline and cheeks. After reading into this further I discovered that what was happening was completely normal called "purging". From my understanding this lasts for approximately 6-8 weeks. I am curious to know how others feel about this, their experience and any suggestions on how to manage the inflammed acne spots until the "purging period" ends. Iss this good for acne prone skin? My skin breaks out when most oils are applied to my face. Is this good for acne control?
Did this get discontinued? This has been one of my top shelf items and I’m hoping it’s just undergoing rebranding/reformulation :(
Im looking for something to clear up from fading scars from a bad accident on my face, along with some older acne spots. I’ve tried a bunch of these type of products with little success. My question, is this worth the hype and price? Other recommendations ?

I am looking for a Vitamin C serum for a mature women’s skin. Would this be a good one? And does it help to brighten the skin?
