It’s easy to use, sufficient and professional. Easy to clean. The noise level is not disturbing and very easy to clean.it is durable and lasting a lifetime.
I absolutely love this mixer. This is my third kitchenaid stand mixer. I started with the 5 qt pro over twenty years ago. Good power, and size of the bowl. It can make full batches without needing to divide the dough into smaller size so that motor is not overworked. Breads, candy, cookies, cakes... It's able to do it all. As with the smaller models you still have all the usual attachments. As well as the ability to use the front socket to attach and run the optional pasta maker, meat grinder, mill, etc..
Highly recommended! If you do a lot of baking and candy making this is an excellent choice for your mixer.
Ok. Real talk home bakers don’t really need this level of power period. I bought this because it was the same price as the home kitchenaid mixer, when I went to my local restaurant equipment store. So it was a no brainer to buy this.
It has WAY more power than the standard and pro line, so it is actually GOOD at kneading bread. The other home line ones will start to make sketchy sounds if you try to use it to knead something for longer than 10-15 min, but in this machine? No problem.
While most of my uses are simple, I do love the power as it has allowed me to make macarons and enriched doughs super easily and without worry. And I like to double and tripe batch when making things like doughs, so this 8 quart is perfect. I always found the 6 and 5 quarts to be a little small for my liking.
So for me, this commercial mixer is absolutely worth it.
