This is a great window air conditioning unit. I have installed it in the window of my office which gets hot afternoon sun and it's been keeping up like a champ. Installation was simple. The temperature is easy to control. The noise level is average for a window unit. Very glad to have this during our current heatwave.

You don't need 2 people to install, but it greatly helps. If the unit is not perfectly level, the fan hits the inside Styrofoam, and sounds broken. Over all, so worth it with as cold as it makes our small space. The noise level is not too loud. You can definitely hear it but not bothersome. E do have to adjust the cool level at night. Otherwise, it causes the room to be too cold, which I didn't think was possible.
