This is a pretty good Keurig machine. It uses the same standard k-cups as every other machine takes, nothing fancy.
I really like that I can change the size of cup of coffee from a button, but best of all the temperature too. I get it to 190 degrees.
The tank is easy to fill and there are filters for the tank that can be replaced. The screen is easy to read. It opens and closes nicely. Putting the pods in and taking them out is quick. The Keurig B70 Platinum Single-cup Home Brewing System is a nice design and reliable. My coffee is good. I like Espresso best, but this is good for being a coffee machine.
My coffee brews super fast! I love all the different size options you can chose from for your cup size! Fits my travel mug! Super easy to clean. Keeps coffee nice and hot!
After a decade of daily use, it’s finally time for me to retire my Keurig B70 Platinum Brewing System. I have to say, this coffee maker has truly been a workhorse in our kitchen. Between my husband and myself, we brew at least four cups of coffee every single day and the B70 handled that workload with impressive consistency. It was reliable, quick, and made our mornings so much easier, especially during those busy workweeks.
One thing I always appreciated about the B70 was its efficiency. The setup was simple, the brewing process was fast, and it delivered a hot, fresh cup of coffee every time. I also liked the sleek design and easy-to-navigate controls. Even after so many years, it still looked relatively modern on our countertop. Maintenance is easy as well. I only find it difficult to reach the tight spots in the clear water tank, so it takes more time than I prefer.
As great as the B70 has been, I’ve found myself wanting to move away from k-cups. While convenient, they’re not the most sustainable or cost-effective option long term. Plus, I’m now more interested in exploring freshly ground beans and different brewing methods for a richer, more customizable coffee experience.
In short, I got every bit of my money’s worth (and then some) from the Keurig B70. It served our household faithfully for a decade, and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone who values convenience and reliability. But for the next chapter, I’m interested in moving toward a more eco-friendly and artisanal coffee setup.
