I think this is the smartest invention, besides the kurig. If you have coffee and don't feel like making a whole pot and wasting it you can place your coffee in this and you can have a single serve of your drink which is so smart and wonderful! So easy too.
This had to be the best invention out there. Makes it to easy to buy any kind of coffee, grind it, poor two spoonfuls in to this amazing reusable k-cup. It is very affordable. Cleaning is very easy as well. Really recommend this product of you haven't yet.
In recent years, I have been trying to cut down on the waster I create. Keurig's My K-Cup is perfect for this. I'm also really picky about the kind of coffee I like so this is great for my Whole Foods freshly ground coffee that I just can't seem to quit.
We love using the Keurig My K-Cup not only because it helps us save money (it's much less expensive to grind our own coffee than to purchase k-cups), but also because we are helping the environment by not disposing of dozens of plastic k-cups each week.
This thing is great! I use it every now and then, especially when I want to try a brand or type of coffee that doesn't come in pre-packaged K-cups. Also, it's more environmentally friendly than throwing something away everyday -- simply re-use it! :)
I love having a re-usable K-cup. I am not throwing anything away, PLUS I am able to mix and match my own special blends of coffee and tea. I couldn't live without it! The coffee and tea is also much cheaper buying it loose and packing the cup myself!
It's a good coffee maker, but the face that K-Cups aren't recyclable makes me like this machine less. Instead, I bought a re-usable pod and then brew coffee with ground beans. It's a more expensive way of just doing the same job as a French press.
I have long awaited this use my own coffee!! I love that I can mix & match and create my own brew to the strength I want. Only down fall is that its hard to keep clean. I wash it as soon as I finish brewing my cup and its stained after a few uses.
I received this product courtesy of influenster for reviewing purposes. I love the idea and that I can pick which coffees to brew. Unfortunately, it can be difficult to get the coffee strong enough. Sometimes the coffee comes out kinda watery...
Keurig 2.0 My K Cup is incredible! This products packaging makes it easy to find in stores and online. It is also fairly inexpensive and worth every penny you spend! It is easy to store in your backpack, desk, or even a purse. I would recommend!
Q & A
I love that we can save money from buying K-cups by using bags of coffee with different flavors. I don't like the fact that I get coffee residue on the bottom and the top of my coffee cup. I've tried so many different coffee and I still get residue either floating and on bottom or just sitting at the bottom. I rarely use it now because that issue.
Is this much better than just using the pre-made K Cups? I haven't tried it yet...
I've been searching for the 2.0 Kcups and filter but can't find them. Where can you buy them in person?
Does this help to save money? Is it more trouble?
Has your cup ever stopped working / ended up breaking? My "bo bo" purple k cup recently stopped working in my 2.0 wahhh :"""(
