I got my Keurig a few days ago and I bought the reusable coffee filter as well. I have seen the Keurigs for quite some time but thought that was an expensive way to enjoy a single cup of coffee...then I saw the filter and thought I love that concept. I am the only one in my house that drinks coffee and I have a small 5 cup coffee maker that 1/2 of the pot gets thrown down the drain every day after I have my morning coffee. In fact there are times when I would love to have an afternoon cup but feel it is wasting money to make a whole pot for my afternoon cup (and I have tried doing half pots and it just doesn't come out the same!) This is great especially if you're the only coffee lover in your home! I definitely recommend!
I am very happy Keurig released a MyKcup that was compatible with the Keurig 2.0. I love the convenience of grabbing the k-cups and tossing them in the machine for a super fast cup of coffee, and I also love the ever growing selection of coffee/tea and specialty drinks that you can purchase as a K-Cup, but there are a few special roasts of coffee that are only available in whole bean/ground. I love being able to make my own k/cup and brew a cup of coffee using my "MyKcup-cup". It is very easy to use, very easy to clean and it really makes your coffee experience opportunities limitless. 5 stars!!!!!
I've owned my Keurig for over a year now. I just found the Keurig 2.0 My K-Cup on sale. It works great! I've glued Keurig labels on different brands of cups to be able to use my own coffee. So happy Keurig finally came out with one. The construction of the Keurig brand is so much better than the plastic ones. And no more hot glue! Just glad I found it on sale. I only gave it 4 stars because of the price. A little pricey for me.
This cup works perfectly! I love that you can use it to enjoy ANY coffee you want and not be forced to buy k-cups. Also, this cup is very high quality, easy to clean, and very obviously will last a long time. Don't waste your money on the knock offs...you won't be sorry and this one will last. The others are made of flimsy cheap plastic...while this one is the real deal!
Works well with my K200 machine, allowing me to use some of the more specialty coffees I've been given. Relatively easy to clean, though I have to use a spoon to get out the grounds that get mashed in there. Also this wouldn't work with the carafe, just single cups. Easy to use with the max line and locking mechanism.
This product is a wonderful idea. I received it to test with my keurig 2.0. I love that it gives you a way to use the keurig with coffee that isn't available in K-cups. I feel as though it is very effective and I love that it has the removable lid. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone who loves coffee!
I love this. I can use my own coffee (usually dunkin or Starbucks) and it's super environmentally friendly! I always feel so bad using the k-cups that you throw out. This way, I'm using less coffee grounds and I'm not killing the environment, so I don't feel awful! Totally recommend
I love this its been a great way to save money for me we drink a lot of coffee some of the pros you can use you own coffee some of the cons its a little time consuming having to wait for it to cool down then get all the grinds out clean it then fill it again.
This had to be the best invention out there. Makes it to easy to buy any kind of coffee, grind it, poor two spoonfuls in to this amazing reusable k-cup. It is very affordable. Cleaning is very easy as well. Really recommend this product of you haven't yet.
It's a good coffee maker, but the face that K-Cups aren't recyclable makes me like this machine less. Instead, I bought a re-usable pod and then brew coffee with ground beans. It's a more expensive way of just doing the same job as a French press.
Q & A
I love that we can save money from buying K-cups by using bags of coffee with different flavors. I don't like the fact that I get coffee residue on the bottom and the top of my coffee cup. I've tried so many different coffee and I still get residue either floating and on bottom or just sitting at the bottom. I rarely use it now because that issue.
Is this much better than just using the pre-made K Cups? I haven't tried it yet...
I've been searching for the 2.0 Kcups and filter but can't find them. Where can you buy them in person?
Does this help to save money? Is it more trouble?
Has your cup ever stopped working / ended up breaking? My "bo bo" purple k cup recently stopped working in my 2.0 wahhh :"""(
