4 reviewsI really love this face wash. It clears your pores without making your face feel dry and it keeps your skin looking glowy. I have yet to try the ferns roller because I am a bit scared but i’m sure it works great.
My mom bought me the 3 step set, and this product works the LEAST out of all three steps. Directions say to use dime size amount product, and I feel like it’s not enough. I don’t feel any cleansing power when using it. I use [product:biore-charcoal-acne-clearing-cleanser] or [product:skinceuticals-simply-clean-our-best-cleanser-for-oily-skin] depending on the time of day, followed by the step 2 serum, and step 3 spot treatment.
YIKES!!!!! My skin did NOT like this product at all. I decided to try it out because I saw so many people posting about Keeva products on social media and they all seemed to be raving about how well it worked for them (especially the acne cream), but the face wash didn’t work for me at all. I’m actually REALLY disappointed! I wanted to love it. In fact, I needed to love it and I needed it to work very badly. I recently turned 30 and I’ve been suffering from adult acne for a few years now. I’ve lost count of the number of different products I’ve tried because they seemed to work for other people. I mean I’ve tried so many that people suggest things to me constantly only to find out that I’ve already tried it.
So about the product itself... PROS: It’s a light face wash... not too thick and not too thin. The ingredients seem to be all natural like they claim on the jar itself. It has a very light smell that I enjoyed. I liked the pump feature on the bottle... it helped me use it sparingly. CONS: The packaging is small. The bottle didn’t last me very long and I was trying my best to use as little product as possible since I was using it AM and PM daily. There is absolutely no salicylic acid or BP in this face wash which I knew ahead of time, but if you’re someone who has bad acne like me, then that’s a major downfall. My skin didn’t agree with the all natural products... they weren’t strong enough to clear up my acne.
I gave this a chance for a full month and a half of using it daily - AM and PM. Not only did it NOT clear up my bad acne along my jaw line and chin, but it honestly seemed to make my skin worse over time. I eventually gave up waiting for the “purging” to stop (I know some products make me break out in the beginning before they clear my skin up, but that’s not what this product was doing). Like I said, I don’t think my skin agreed with the ingredients in this at all. I have very, very sensitive and oily skin.
Overall.... I wouldn’t recommend this to someone with sensitive, oily, or mature skin. But I have heard that it works for other people. So don’t let my experience completely deter you if you’re really interested in trying it! I just pride myself in leaving completely honest reviews no matter what, so I feel the need to warn you all about my experience.
