I REALLY really wanted to like this foundation, I had heard amazing reviews about kat von d and her foundation from my sister and love the packaging! However the moment i used some i noticed it was very liquidy, not usual for a high end brand also it stunk. I am big on my makeup not smelling like horrid chemicals and this one def did. Usually high end brands are good about this. The second i put it on i felt like my face was going to break out. Also it has an orange-ish tone to it and leaves your face looking all "cakey" not a fan. It also dries out my already dry skin and when i tried to add moisturizer to it, it just made the foundation look worse. I found myself wiping of 2 layers of this foundation before i went out because i was embarrassed at how cakey it looked. However I did love the concealer from this line!!

I got matched for this foundation and I swear I went out with this foundation on and people were saying I looked like a ghost and there was too much on me. I used a pea sized amount and that was the reaction I got. Definitely use if you're trying to cover up a tattoo but not for your face.

I was really excited about trying this foundation because I love a good full coverage makeup but I was very unhappy with this. It takes full coverage to a whole new level. It is almost like spreading elmer's glue on your face is how thick it is. I would absolutely not buy it again. It does not blend well at all.

This foundation is the heaviest and most cakey foundation I’ve tried. I was so disappointed when I wore it, and looking back I wish I returned it. I have oily skin and thought my face would be “locked”, but my oils still came through a ton. It also enhanced my pores 100x, which is something I’m already insecure about. I noticed too when I was getting it at sephora and 2 of the workers told me they were wearing it, that their pores were enhanced too. (i really wanted to try it though). Definitely would not recommend.
It’s very “wet” looking smells to strong of sunscreen and it’s not medium/full-coverage I would not recommend.
Q & A
What is the best way to apply? fingers? brush? beauty blender?
Okay, I've been eyeing this for a while but I just don't want to buy a high end foundation again and be as disappointed as I was with the Too Faced Born This Way 😩 I have oily, acne prone, combination skin with a super dry nose. I have a lot of redness from acne and so on and I want something that covers it all instantly! I want something that stays matte all day, with or without primer, and doesn't melt off no matter the weather. I am super light (like ghost light) as well with a yellow undertone and wonder if they have any good shades. Does it oxidize? Does it wear off around the nose? Can you apply it both with a Beauty Blender and a brush? Would you say this is a foundation for me?
Does this foundation come on very thick?
I have Rosacea, would this be able to cover up my rosy red cheeks?
I really want to give this foundation a try and I have been hearing mixed reviews. Is this product worth the money or should I try something different?
