Kat Von D Lock-It Tattoo Foundation
My HOLY GRAIL foundation! It's so long lasting and covers EVERYTHING. I don't need concealer. Less than one pump covers my whole face and neck. It's a full coverage, so it's a little heavy, but if you don't use too much it shouldn't bother you. I definitely recommend to everyone.
The coverage on this is amazing. the formula is super thick so it's a little easy to look like a cake face. But in photos this looks amazing this is perfect for super full coverage nights or days
This foundation ks geeat, but it is too matte for me and made my skin look super dry. I tried it with moistourozer underneath with a hydrating primer and it still looked tok dry. I would def reccomend to someone with oily skin tho!
I love this foundation! It is a great option for when you need a full coverage foundation, and it will cover any imperfection you have. It is best applied with a beauty blender. There is a great range of shades to choose from as well. I highly recommend this foundation.

This foundation is my favorite. If you love full coverage- this is your go to! I love the smooth look from the full coverage I get from this formula, it does not leave a greasy feeling at all! The bottle also lasts quite a while!

Hands down best foundation I have ever found. It's plain to cover tattoos is what drew me in, the darkness under my eyes and red spots from the occasional break out are completely covered thanks to this amazing foundation. The paired concealer is just as amazing. They both blend so perfectly that if I don't want to wear a full face I can just put it on my problem areas.
I have a love hate relationship with this product. On its own it's very heavy and no matter how much I blend it still comes out patchy and I can see every pore... BUT when I mix it with my other foundations, it turns out amazingly!!
I purchased this after an mua used it on me - but despite attempting to use it correctly, it flaked and would come off. "Lock It" is a complete joke because it wouldn't stay on or look good regardless of what I did to it. I returned it and will not be repurchasing.
This foundation is okay, but I always have to mix it with a different foundation. It's splotchy on its own, which is sad considering I paid so much for it. It is very full coverage, but the splotchyness is something I can't get over. I wanted to love this foundation.
Q & A
What is the best way to apply? fingers? brush? beauty blender?
Okay, I've been eyeing this for a while but I just don't want to buy a high end foundation again and be as disappointed as I was with the Too Faced Born This Way 😩 I have oily, acne prone, combination skin with a super dry nose. I have a lot of redness from acne and so on and I want something that covers it all instantly! I want something that stays matte all day, with or without primer, and doesn't melt off no matter the weather. I am super light (like ghost light) as well with a yellow undertone and wonder if they have any good shades. Does it oxidize? Does it wear off around the nose? Can you apply it both with a Beauty Blender and a brush? Would you say this is a foundation for me?
Does this foundation come on very thick?
I have Rosacea, would this be able to cover up my rosy red cheeks?
I really want to give this foundation a try and I have been hearing mixed reviews. Is this product worth the money or should I try something different?
