Kat Von D Lock-It Tattoo Foundation
This foundation is AMAZING! I have been trying to find a foundation to match my skin tone, If you want full coverage this is the foundation for you! I have tired tons of foundations hoping to find one that will give me full coverage but not give me that nasty caked on feeling and this foundation does that!

This product would be great for people with oily skin! The foundation is heavy but can be thinned out using the primer. It’s is a beautiful matte finish. If you have dry skin I️ would not recommend this because it shows dry patches. I️ would recommend for my oily skin friends though. It’s a great product !
Praise Jesus for Lock it Foundation. I have been using this for years and it never ever lets me down. I love how much coverage I get. I have so many unwanted freckles that I love to cover them up, and this really does the job. It has full coverage without feeling like my face is caked with makeup. Love it!
I got this in the lightest shade they have, which was my bad because the color wasn’t great for my skin tone, but regardless, I did use it a few times, it felt super caked on my skin and within a few hours of wearing it, all of my pores were showing as the foundation was breaking down. It looked terrible.
I wanted to try this so I finally went out and bought it- It is a full coverage so a bit heavier than i’m used to wearing. I have oily skin and this caked up a little on me - after using a different primer it stayed on a little better but overall it was a great foundation just too heavy for me personally!

Not my favorite foundation it is very drying and it sits on your skin imperfections. It also feels very heavy and it is not comfortable throughout the day. I found my oils breaking through. I would not repurchase. If you want something that covers and feels good I would go with bare minerals or cover fx

This foundation is full coverage and thick. If you have a lot of dark marks or scarring, or if you would like to just like the full coverage look this is for you. I would also consider this foundation more on the heavy side. I would recommend this foundation! (Side note: a little goes a long way).
Love this product! Goes on smooth, not cakey, but still full coverage! Pair it with the lock it primer! You will look flawless, no doubt about it! One of my favorite foundations. Also, a large variety of skin tones!
Q & A
What is the best way to apply? fingers? brush? beauty blender?
Is this a full coverage foundation that works with hyperpigmentation?
Okay, I've been eyeing this for a while but I just don't want to buy a high end foundation again and be as disappointed as I was with the Too Faced Born This Way 😩 I have oily, acne prone, combination skin with a super dry nose. I have a lot of redness from acne and so on and I want something that covers it all instantly! I want something that stays matte all day, with or without primer, and doesn't melt off no matter the weather. I am super light (like ghost light) as well with a yellow undertone and wonder if they have any good shades. Does it oxidize? Does it wear off around the nose? Can you apply it both with a Beauty Blender and a brush? Would you say this is a foundation for me?
Does this foundation come on very thick?
I have Rosacea, would this be able to cover up my rosy red cheeks?
