Let's start out. I absolutely love Kat Von D'Souza cosmetic line. But this I had a hard time loving. It did not work with my skin at all. It separated on my face after just a few hours. It's very heavy, the formula is very thick. I wanted to love this so much. But with my dry patches and random oil spots it's just wasn't a good match. If you have good neutral skin, I'd recommend this to you. I loved the way it looked when I first applied it.

Very full coverage! I have a very fair complexion, so I always choose the lightest shade when purchasing a liquid foundation. The lightest shade was, however, way too light! It made me look extremely pale, like white vampire skin pale. That was my own fault though for just assuming that the lightest shade would work. The foundation is a bit tacky, and really needs to be blended in. I had better results applying with my fingers rather than with a beauty sponge, since it seemed to blend into my skin better. When applying with the sponge, since it is a bit tacky, it just blotted on top of the skin and didn't have a very smooth texture (I could see the texture of the sponge in the layer that was applied). It does cover blemishes really well, but since it is so full coverage, it starts to crease and look cakey about an hour into wearing. I wasn't a fan of the tacky and cakey nature of a full face foundation, so I've opted to use it as a concealer spot treatment, and that has worked better for me.

Purchased at: Sephora
I received this product along with the concealer free and complimentary for testing purposes from influenster. I have to say that I’m blessed to have received this duo. My makeup lasted all day! It wasn’t just a regular day either. It was my 21st birthday weekend and my boyfriend took me out for the day. In the morning we drove to Philadelphia to go to the zoo and then went to dinner and walked around center city . Between the rain , sweating and eating / drinking it stuck through! When I got home that night it looked as though I just put it on. Another good thing about it is , that you only need 2 drops to cover your entire face so you won’t be running out to get new foundation all the time . Highly recommend this product !!

If you are looking for a full coverage, matte foundation look no further. But be warned this stuff is THICK. It has been shown/used to cover up tattoos so without proper bronzing, blush, contour you may look like you’re wearing a mask. I wouldn’t recommend for everyday use because it will eventually clog your pores I think, but if you have an event and you want your skin to look BEAUTIFUL and flawless this is the foundation for that.

I got this product for free from Influenster as a part of one of their campaigns, and I was convinced when I got this product that it was gonna be way too light, but after it oxidized it was a perfect color match for me. I was really surprised. On its own, this foundation works really well on the more moisturized parts of my skin, or the parts that tend to get more oily. I did notice that this foundatin tends to cling to parts of my face that tend to be more dry, so if you have dry skin I wouldn't recommend this for you. This does have a smell that reminds me of paint, or the Wet and Wild foundation, but the formula is really different and the color range is way way better. This didn't make me break out or anything either, over all im really happy with this foundation. I'm still trying to figure out the best way to use it on the more dry parts of my face, though.

Let me start by saying, I'm an avid fan of her brow products, so I really wanted to like this! It just did not wear well on my skin from the minute I applied it. I tried it with a beauty blender and a brush, the result was the same: it immediately broke apart on my skin, went on very patchy, and emphasized my pores. Yuck! I have combination skin, and it applied poorly on my drier spots as well as my hydrated parts. I also didn't like the way it dried down very quickly, making it even tougher to blend out. After application, it was the opposite of flawless.

Just to give it a fair chance, I tried it with and without my usual primer. I tried it on 3 different days, after my normal skin cleansing regiment. It just wasn't for me... I was very disappointed.

I received this product complimentary from Influenster in exchange for testing and my honest review.

The only bad things about this foundation are that it can get heavy really quickly and the shade range could be better. But this will make your skin look flawless. I used it for a photo shoot and the photographer told me after that they didn’t have to retouch my skin at all. It blends out easily, covers everything, and will last. It is really matte though, so you should make sure your skin is moisturized first. Great foundation.

I'm on my Third can of Kat Von D lock it Tattoo foundation so that should say something. This foundation is bae! The outcome after application is absolutely gorgeous. The consistency is a little bit on the thick side but that doesn't get in the way of application...meaning it still spreads easily on the skin. Oh! did i mention that it does not oxidize? Yep! it doesn't. All in all, this one is a staple in my makeup organizer. :)

I personally really didn't like this foundation on myself, I have dry skin so that is probably some of the issue. But I felt like this product was soooo cakey on me and really hard to move around once it was on. You've gotta work fast with blending this one out unless you want some weird patches of lots of product. I'm sure for those with oily skin it's great but if you've got any sort of dry patches stay away! clingy clingy!

This is a more Satin finish foundation which goes to a full coverage with building. I have acne and redness and it takes more than 1 pump to cover my face and the redness to my liking. It could be a medium coverage if you want it to be. This foudation NEEDS a primer. The foundation will emphasize your pores without a good primer. It also is best to wear a primer if you have dry skin it will flake off. Even with a primer my skin area will flake off due to dryness. It also ends up separating in my oily areas. Will be returning.... For the price I dont think I'll buy it again..

Okay, I've been eyeing this for a while but I just don't want to buy a high end foundation again and be as disappointed as I was with the Too Faced Born This Way 😩 I have oily, acne prone, combination skin with a super dry nose. I have a lot of redness from acne and so on and I want something that covers it all instantly! I want something that stays matte all day, with or without primer, and doesn't melt off no matter the weather. I am super light (like ghost light) as well with a yellow undertone and wonder if they have any good shades. Does it oxidize? Does it wear off around the nose? Can you apply it both with a Beauty Blender and a brush? Would you say this is a foundation for me?

I really want to give this foundation a try and I have been hearing mixed reviews. Is this product worth the money or should I try something different?
