The foundation is super thick. Two pumps is too much for me and it clumps up your makeup brushes. It can easily look cakey. One pump is still a little too much and can rest in your smile lines. I like to mix it with a more liquidy foundation to make it spread easier.
The foumula is fantastic. It does last all work day and can last into the night if you really want it to. Not only does the foundation last, my powder blush, bronzer, and highlighter also last with it!! Overall I think it’s a good investment, especially since it’s cheaper than other high quality brands like Urban Decay. I would get it again.

I would only recommend this to those who like a strong medium to full coverage or those who are looking for something stronger than a bb cream but don’t mind mixing foundations. It’s a great option for vegans and animal lovers as well!

Please note that I received this product free/complementary for testing purposes.

Very comfortable full coverage foundation. This was the first foundation I had ever found that matched my light medium skin (thanks for paying attention to people with neutral undertones kat!!). I have acne prone skin as well and this does not seem to make me break out. Easy to blend with a beauty blender. Overall really nice!! The only cons are that they oxidize a little bit, and the foundation cracks every once in a while, but nothing I can’t fix.

So I received this in a VoxBox and while I was excited to be receiving a new, high end foundation, I was also a little scared. Mostly because I didn’t want to use this foundation and love it because I don’t have the money to buy a $35 foundation and I personally don’t want to support this company. Well I have a ethical dilemma on my hands because I love this foundation. This foundation is known for being full coverage and it doesn’t disappoint. But it is also buildable. The first layer isn’t completely full and let’s your natural skin shine through, which can be nice. But the second layer is definitely more full. I love how this foundation is so full coverage while not being cakey and is so lightweight. It says that it’s transfer resistant so I tested it. It didn’t come off when touched my face this my hand or fabric and didn’t come off on my boyfriend’s shirt. But I’m sure if you were to rub your face, it would come off. It stayed on all day, even on my very oily t-zone. All and all this is a great foundation and I’m very tempted to buy it again.

Let's start out. I absolutely love Kat Von D'Souza cosmetic line. But this I had a hard time loving. It did not work with my skin at all. It separated on my face after just a few hours. It's very heavy, the formula is very thick. I wanted to love this so much. But with my dry patches and random oil spots it's just wasn't a good match. If you have good neutral skin, I'd recommend this to you. I loved the way it looked when I first applied it.

I used to wear this religiously back in college, but stopped purchasing to try something with a lighter feel. I recently tried it again, as my skin has been developing a lot of hyperpigmentation lately and I wanted a bit more coverage. I really wanted to love it the way I used to, but I just can’t get into it considering what factors I want. I have very oily skin, and it doesn’t last for the duration of my work day. I get a lot of separation and needed to blot twice. It’s also very thick, so I felt like I was pulling on my skin when applying. The reason I’m giving 3 stars is because the color match is awesome, and I really do like how it looks for the first couple hours. This would be something I would wear if I was going to a special event for a few hours and wanted that “matte but not flat”, full coverage, photo-finish. But, I can’t say I like it enough to buy a whole bottle just for that purpose.

Very full coverage! I have a very fair complexion, so I always choose the lightest shade when purchasing a liquid foundation. The lightest shade was, however, way too light! It made me look extremely pale, like white vampire skin pale. That was my own fault though for just assuming that the lightest shade would work. The foundation is a bit tacky, and really needs to be blended in. I had better results applying with my fingers rather than with a beauty sponge, since it seemed to blend into my skin better. When applying with the sponge, since it is a bit tacky, it just blotted on top of the skin and didn't have a very smooth texture (I could see the texture of the sponge in the layer that was applied). It does cover blemishes really well, but since it is so full coverage, it starts to crease and look cakey about an hour into wearing. I wasn't a fan of the tacky and cakey nature of a full face foundation, so I've opted to use it as a concealer spot treatment, and that has worked better for me.

Purchased at: Sephora
I received this product along with the concealer free and complimentary for testing purposes from influenster. I have to say that I’m blessed to have received this duo. My makeup lasted all day! It wasn’t just a regular day either. It was my 21st birthday weekend and my boyfriend took me out for the day. In the morning we drove to Philadelphia to go to the zoo and then went to dinner and walked around center city . Between the rain , sweating and eating / drinking it stuck through! When I got home that night it looked as though I just put it on. Another good thing about it is , that you only need 2 drops to cover your entire face so you won’t be running out to get new foundation all the time . Highly recommend this product !!

If you are looking for a full coverage, matte foundation look no further. But be warned this stuff is THICK. It has been shown/used to cover up tattoos so without proper bronzing, blush, contour you may look like you’re wearing a mask. I wouldn’t recommend for everyday use because it will eventually clog your pores I think, but if you have an event and you want your skin to look BEAUTIFUL and flawless this is the foundation for that.

I absolutely hate this foundation. Remember reading reviews about it and being excited. People were talking about how you only need a little bit to get full coverage, how easy it was to use, how it just glided on, and too me it Was disappointing quite honestly. It’s cakey and it’s a very thick consistency, so it doesn’t just glide on, which in turn means you have to use at least four pumps to be able to do your entire face. I just found it super disappointing.

Let me start by saying, I'm an avid fan of her brow products, so I really wanted to like this! It just did not wear well on my skin from the minute I applied it. I tried it with a beauty blender and a brush, the result was the same: it immediately broke apart on my skin, went on very patchy, and emphasized my pores. Yuck! I have combination skin, and it applied poorly on my drier spots as well as my hydrated parts. I also didn't like the way it dried down very quickly, making it even tougher to blend out. After application, it was the opposite of flawless.

Just to give it a fair chance, I tried it with and without my usual primer. I tried it on 3 different days, after my normal skin cleansing regiment. It just wasn't for me... I was very disappointed.

I received this product complimentary from Influenster in exchange for testing and my honest review.

Okay, I've been eyeing this for a while but I just don't want to buy a high end foundation again and be as disappointed as I was with the Too Faced Born This Way 😩 I have oily, acne prone, combination skin with a super dry nose. I have a lot of redness from acne and so on and I want something that covers it all instantly! I want something that stays matte all day, with or without primer, and doesn't melt off no matter the weather. I am super light (like ghost light) as well with a yellow undertone and wonder if they have any good shades. Does it oxidize? Does it wear off around the nose? Can you apply it both with a Beauty Blender and a brush? Would you say this is a foundation for me?
