I wear deep 74 in this foundation which is too dark, but deep 71 is too yellow. I have caramel and red undertones so I mix it with a lighter shade.. It’s very full coverage and doesn’t transfer very easily. It stays on my face all day. I’ve worn it for 13 hours with no separation or cakey look.
Super pigmented and silky smooth!! The best full coverage formula that doesn’t cake, flake or dry up your face. The tiniest amount is needed for full coverage. This is so lightweight and matte. It doesn’t dry out skin and works perfectly over moisturizer and primer. It actually lasts all day! Would highly recommend this foundation, it’s totally worth the price.

Regardless of how I feel personally about Kat von D, this is a great coverage foundation! It lasted long and hid any blemishes. It's long lasting and it feels so smooth and light on the skin. The best part is that you only need to use like a drop or two of product for full coverage!!

I LOVE this KVD lock it foundation wow. I am so lucky to have been given this #complimentary foundation and concealer. I never would have splurged to try it, but now I’m hooked. One drop of foundation gave me a completely flawless matte finish on my naturally oily skin. I have stuck to powders in the past, but this is a game changer. I will continue to buy this!!
The original formula was amazing. It was a full, long-lasting, matte finish. I could wear it all day without worrying about having to touch up. I used the original formula for years. Once the new formula came out it made me hate this foundation. My shade is no longer offered and the new formula makes me a grease ball within 3 hours of application. Disappointed.
My holy grail of foundation!! Use every single day and my face looks poreless. My skin can be pretty dry in the summer but you could never tell with this foundation! My skin looks flawless, you cant even notice my huge pimples 95% of the time!! Worth the buy

I wanted to love this foundation!😭💔 It has a dewy finish, I would say. It’s definitely high coverage but it settles in the creases around my mouth and it looks sooooo dry no matter how little powder I set it with, nor the brand😭 I have combo skin and matte foundations don’t ever do this to me. My sister had oily skin and it also separated after it was applied😞
Q & A
What is the best way to apply? fingers? brush? beauty blender?
Okay, I've been eyeing this for a while but I just don't want to buy a high end foundation again and be as disappointed as I was with the Too Faced Born This Way 😩 I have oily, acne prone, combination skin with a super dry nose. I have a lot of redness from acne and so on and I want something that covers it all instantly! I want something that stays matte all day, with or without primer, and doesn't melt off no matter the weather. I am super light (like ghost light) as well with a yellow undertone and wonder if they have any good shades. Does it oxidize? Does it wear off around the nose? Can you apply it both with a Beauty Blender and a brush? Would you say this is a foundation for me?
Does this foundation come on very thick?
I have Rosacea, would this be able to cover up my rosy red cheeks?
I really want to give this foundation a try and I have been hearing mixed reviews. Is this product worth the money or should I try something different?
