This is my favorite foundation at sephora. It's super full coverage with very little product. It lasts all day long when paired with a primer and setting powder (I use ELF for both). You do need to contour with it or your face will lose dimension.
I really wanted to love this foundation, I heard it was amazing for oily skin so I was excited to try it. Used it 3 times and applied it 3 different ways (beauty blender, slipping brush, and buffer brush) all had the end result...a cakey mess and my T zone was oily after a few hours. I was definitely a lot heavier then I thought it would be. I'm not saying it is a bad foundation, there are a lot of great reviews on it, but like anything else it may not work the same for everyone. I will say that there was a great color selection and I was able to get a shade that was perfect.
For a long time I had the habit of collecting foundations that claimed to do basically the same thing; mattifying, full coverage, and long-wearing. When I discovered this product at Sephora I was instantly intrigued and it proved to be amazing! I have both the liquid and powder form of this foundation, and for the past 6 months or so it is usually the only foundation I use/repurchase. It definitely does all that it claims to do, and the shade range is great as well! I HIGHLY recommend this product!
This is the best foundation I've ever tried!!! I have many spots on my skin and it covers really good! I love that it's vegan and have a large variety of colors.
So I knew this foundation has pretty raving reviews. And I get it, it's a pretty great foundation. I mean I am giving it four stars. The only reason I'm not getting a five stars, is because it's not something I could wear every day. It's very thick even after only using the recommendation of one pump. And every time I've tried to use it for more than a couple days in a row it has caused me to break out. This foundation looks great and wears great though so it has become like going out foundation.
This is the only foundation I can ever find that matches my skin tone. I am the palest of the pale, white as an actual ghost basically yet the lightest shade of this matches me perfectly. The formula is nice, it can be a little drying though so I highly recommend a primer under it (I use one from elf). It also blends very easily and it doesn't get cakey or crease on my face throughout the day which is amazing. It is a little expensive but I think it's worth it for whenever I wear foundation for it to look nice. I'm a cosplayer so I actually have to wear heavy makeup for photos and this foundation looks great in pictures, it doesn't even look like I'm wearing anything!
Q & A
What is the best way to apply? fingers? brush? beauty blender?
Okay, I've been eyeing this for a while but I just don't want to buy a high end foundation again and be as disappointed as I was with the Too Faced Born This Way 😩 I have oily, acne prone, combination skin with a super dry nose. I have a lot of redness from acne and so on and I want something that covers it all instantly! I want something that stays matte all day, with or without primer, and doesn't melt off no matter the weather. I am super light (like ghost light) as well with a yellow undertone and wonder if they have any good shades. Does it oxidize? Does it wear off around the nose? Can you apply it both with a Beauty Blender and a brush? Would you say this is a foundation for me?
Does this foundation come on very thick?
I have Rosacea, would this be able to cover up my rosy red cheeks?
I really want to give this foundation a try and I have been hearing mixed reviews. Is this product worth the money or should I try something different?
