Kat Von D Lock-It Tattoo Foundation
My go to foundation, helps with evening out my facial tone and of course it has to be a matte finish for my oily skin. It is a full coverage foundation. Pros would have to be the full coverage and tone color variety. Have bought this more than 3 times. 🤗😘
I can't even come on kat von D nail polish yes, lipstick, eyeliner hell yes but this was a complete disappointment is cane out fluffy an then Became very thick and the color charting was so off I wish I could of loved it
Pure pigment people!! Like I love this foundation, sure it can be hard to blend and if you apply too much it can and will look cakey. But, this foundation is awesome. It is full coverage and lasts all day long. I’m pretty sure you could sleep in this foundation, wake up and it would still look awesome. I tend to sweat like a burley, Russian man during a Mississippi summer. And this foundation never leaves me hanging. It holds up through any temperature and I’m from Alabama, but currently in Mississippi and the sun is not a factor. I can sweat and generously wipe my face and the foundation stays in place. The only cons I have for this foundation is that it 1. Can get cakey. 2. Requires you to clean makeup brushes more frequently, and 3. It dries too fast. But this foundation is diffenetaily going to become a major staple for my collection.
This foundation is amazing for a full coverage look. If you have acne or acne scar you want to hide, this is perfect for you. Although it does have a very thick dewy look to it. I would definitely buy this product again.

I am currently using this foundation now and I truly love it! It's buildable but there is a lot of coverage with this foundation. It has a matte finish which is great for my skin as it gets oily during the day. The foundation is thick but it feels lightweight on your skin. It has an easy application.
Q & A
What is the best way to apply? fingers? brush? beauty blender?
Okay, I've been eyeing this for a while but I just don't want to buy a high end foundation again and be as disappointed as I was with the Too Faced Born This Way 😩 I have oily, acne prone, combination skin with a super dry nose. I have a lot of redness from acne and so on and I want something that covers it all instantly! I want something that stays matte all day, with or without primer, and doesn't melt off no matter the weather. I am super light (like ghost light) as well with a yellow undertone and wonder if they have any good shades. Does it oxidize? Does it wear off around the nose? Can you apply it both with a Beauty Blender and a brush? Would you say this is a foundation for me?
Does this foundation come on very thick?
I have Rosacea, would this be able to cover up my rosy red cheeks?
I really want to give this foundation a try and I have been hearing mixed reviews. Is this product worth the money or should I try something different?
