Kat Von D Lock-It Tattoo Foundation
OK so i wasn't a big fan of this foundation not because i didn't like but because its not my kind of foundation but its a great foundation. I like coverage but this one goes beyond that ! It will literally make your tattoo disappear from anywhere ! LOL ! It is SUPER HIGH COVERAGE !!! If thats what you want then this is the foundation for you ! I do have some acne spot and stuff like that but its not that bad. When i put this on i kinda felt like a different person i have a few scars and ugh they vanished , and its thick and heavy and I have pretty sensitive skin so i can feel everything on my skin even to an eye lash so i felt awkward when i had it on ! I didn't get any pimples or rashes or anything like that i just didn't like the fact that i could feel the foundation on me . I wish she had a light weight formula with almost the same coverage !! I LOVE KAT VON D THOUGH 😘
Hands down, the best full coverage foundation out there. It gives your skin the perfect matte finish your looking for. It's the only foundation to match my skin color on point
About 6 months ago I went to Sephora and asked for them to match me and they gave me a sample so i could test run the foundation. Which they gave me enough its lasted a few weeks so I was able to really try it out. I really like the coverage I get. I have seen reviews that people feel its to heavy or cakey but i don't have this problem. I would say i have combination skin, but most of the time I'm dry on my nose. If I'm having a very dry and peely day it doesn't cover it up. But i have added smashbox photo finish primer to my routine and started using Aquaphor on very dry areas and it has helped alot. The foundation cover my blemishes very well, no problems with that. This foundation also lasts. I do roller derby and with my Skindinavia setting spray my make up stays after a 2 hr practice or bout. I did purchase the full size at Sephora after testing it out for a few weeks.

I have mixed emotions about this foundation. I love the coverage and the look it gives you. But I’m not crazy about how thick it is and after a while it wears off very easily. After about 5 hours it starts to rub off when touching the face.
Amazing foundation it has a very great covrerage I was able to cover both my authors with this. Little products goes a long ways you don't need a lot of fountain to cover up blemishes or what ever it is you're trying to cover this is amazing
If you need a long lasting matte foundation this is it I really love this foundation and it's not too pricey like other high end foundations. The only thing is to try before you buy because it might not look like the same color as it does in the packaging
Q & A
What is the best way to apply? fingers? brush? beauty blender?
Okay, I've been eyeing this for a while but I just don't want to buy a high end foundation again and be as disappointed as I was with the Too Faced Born This Way 😩 I have oily, acne prone, combination skin with a super dry nose. I have a lot of redness from acne and so on and I want something that covers it all instantly! I want something that stays matte all day, with or without primer, and doesn't melt off no matter the weather. I am super light (like ghost light) as well with a yellow undertone and wonder if they have any good shades. Does it oxidize? Does it wear off around the nose? Can you apply it both with a Beauty Blender and a brush? Would you say this is a foundation for me?
Does this foundation come on very thick?
I have Rosacea, would this be able to cover up my rosy red cheeks?
I really want to give this foundation a try and I have been hearing mixed reviews. Is this product worth the money or should I try something different?
