Kat Von D Lock-It Tattoo Foundation
It's a great foundation. You really need to make sure to use a great primer and really hydrate your skin with moisturizer before hand. It really does a great job of keeping place all day and covering up unwanted skin damage. Awesome foundation!

I have gone back and forth Kat Von D Lock-It Tattoo Foundation between different foundation, and I always seem to come back to this one! The coverage is unbelievable and it doesn’t take a lot! It’s super light weight which is so nice!

I’m not a huge fan. It can easily get cakey and splotchy. I use it for the black circles under my eyes or if I’m having issues with acne. I’ve read there’s a certain method to applying so I could probably try again but so far I’m not impressed.
This is the only foundation I will use it goes on as a liquid and then drys as a matte finish and it blends easy and it doesn't dry out my face . I've tried a couple others and it left my face dry and cracked this one is so worth what you spend

I absolutely love the coverage on this foundation however, it is very sick! It blend out easily but I find that when it starts breaking up, it looks extremely cakey. It lasts a good amount of time, however, I figured it would last longer than it did.
Seriously in love with this foundation. Girls full coverage without looking too cakey. As long as you know the proper way to apply it. There are times when I want a light coverage and times when I want a heavy look and I can get both with this foundation. And a bonus, I don't even need to use concealer!
If you have oily skin, you're going to love this foundation. It is VERY matte, but also VERY thick and heavy. The coverage is absolutely insane so it's great for covering up acne which is why I love it! I gave it four stars, however, because it's not perfect and I've found a foundation that's a bit better. I love the coverage of this foundation but it can get cakey really really fast and if you have a dry patch on your face or a really dry blemish, it will cake up around that area and accentuate it a bit. it is very long-wearing and I find that with my urban decay all nighter setting spray, the foundation looks better the longer you wear it. This foundation doesn't suppress oil. If you have oily skin your skin will get oily throughout the day so wear a good primer underneath! A good primer and moisturizer is essential for any foundation though! The foundation I discovered I like more is Mac studio fix fluid and it's a few dollars cheaper.
This is a great full coverage foundation. I get hormonal blemishes frequently and it covers them up like no other. Not patchy and doesn't put off too much oil, which is important to me because I have oily to combo skin.

I love his for days I need full coverage. It does a great job covering. It is a little thick, but blends well. I feel like it gives a matte finish. I have been using the same container for awhile! It lasts forever! I will probably purchase again.
Q & A
What is the best way to apply? fingers? brush? beauty blender?
Okay, I've been eyeing this for a while but I just don't want to buy a high end foundation again and be as disappointed as I was with the Too Faced Born This Way 😩 I have oily, acne prone, combination skin with a super dry nose. I have a lot of redness from acne and so on and I want something that covers it all instantly! I want something that stays matte all day, with or without primer, and doesn't melt off no matter the weather. I am super light (like ghost light) as well with a yellow undertone and wonder if they have any good shades. Does it oxidize? Does it wear off around the nose? Can you apply it both with a Beauty Blender and a brush? Would you say this is a foundation for me?
Does this foundation come on very thick?
I have Rosacea, would this be able to cover up my rosy red cheeks?
I really want to give this foundation a try and I have been hearing mixed reviews. Is this product worth the money or should I try something different?
