Kat Von D Lock-It Tattoo Foundation
Very heavy coverage! Be sure to put setting powder on before the foundation to make it last longer if you have oily skin. It doesn’t last all day so it needs to be touched up. A little goes a long way which I live and I love the matte finish I get!
works great, it is a little heavy thick so a little goes a long way. I have combination skin and this works great, I apply with a brush and it works well. so many colors to choose from, and long lasting. really works well.

Kat Von D Lock-It Tattoo Foundation is a full coverage foundation easy to apply and blend. It's a matte finish and perfect for oily skin, but it can be a bit drying and heavy. I would recommend moisturizing skin before wearing this foundation.
This is my go to foundation. It’s a little on the thick side but once I work with it a bit it’s not as heavy and still a full coverage. This brand is best used with the primer and setting spray that are part of her brand. And a damp beauty blender is the best
I suffer from heavy acne and have a lot of acne scars on my face. I also have redness and dark circles. This foundation is a non heavy full coverage foundation that works amazing. I used this with the Kat Von D concealer too and it work amazing as a pair.

Amazing coverage, but I just wish the product wouldn't cake-up so easily. I also wish it came in a container that was a bit less messy. I like to display my makeup, so when it gets a bit gross and dirty, that's something that tends to bother me.

Hands down, best foundation I've ever used for high end makeup. Full coverage!! This is a super thick formula so a little goes a long way. I finish this off with her lock it setting powder and I'm good for my 12 hour shift. Skin looks flawless!!!
This is by far the best foundation I've ever used. I have combination skin and it works well for me. I really like that it has a matte finish. As long as I prep my face it goes on nicely and lasts all day.
Q & A
What is the best way to apply? fingers? brush? beauty blender?
Okay, I've been eyeing this for a while but I just don't want to buy a high end foundation again and be as disappointed as I was with the Too Faced Born This Way 😩 I have oily, acne prone, combination skin with a super dry nose. I have a lot of redness from acne and so on and I want something that covers it all instantly! I want something that stays matte all day, with or without primer, and doesn't melt off no matter the weather. I am super light (like ghost light) as well with a yellow undertone and wonder if they have any good shades. Does it oxidize? Does it wear off around the nose? Can you apply it both with a Beauty Blender and a brush? Would you say this is a foundation for me?
Does this foundation come on very thick?
I have Rosacea, would this be able to cover up my rosy red cheeks?
I really want to give this foundation a try and I have been hearing mixed reviews. Is this product worth the money or should I try something different?
