Kat Von D Lock-It Tattoo Foundation
I got this foundation when it first started coming out, and I was not impressed. If you have dry skin I do not recommend this at all. I have pretty normal skin and it clung to all the dry patches. It start to break apart throughout the day. I would not purchase this again and I actually threw it away after a few uses.

It's just okay. It is full coverage I'll give it that but it oxidizes and it made my face oily. It did have good wear time and it didn't look bad but I had to constantly blot my face, it didn't control my oils there for didn't completely stay in place. Had nice coverage though, I'm sure other people it would work for.
This is a quality foundation that is full coverage. It has a slight paint smell but it goes away. There is a very nice shade selection, every warm, cool, or neutral tone. It dries matte but you should still set it with a powder

What good coverage this foundation has ! It's worth the price just the only thing I didn't enjoy was it was hard to find a color to match my skin tone. If it was to light it looked Cakey. But once I found the right color it looked great. Full coverage and long lasting. I would recommend if you find the right color.
Full coverage foundation. I have combination skin and it works perfect for me. It tends to set very quickly so I would suggest quickly applying the product. One of the only products that helps cover my dark under eye without having to apply too much concealer. Love this product!

This is one of my favorite foundations. It gives a lightweight full coverage which is what I need for my acne scarring. It also lasts pretty much all day without touchups. For some reason though I feel the powder foundation by kat von d gives a little bit more coverage, but I still love the liquid as well.

This foundation is so light on the skin that it doesn't even feel like you're wearing anything! I find it to be long lasting for the most part but saw it running off around my nose and mouth after a few hours. It doesn't leave a matte finish so I always pair it with a setting powder to take away from the dewy look.
This is so full coverage! It covers everything. It's super thick though so it can look cakey quick so I use a wet sponge to sheer it out for best application. It is fully matte. And it's a decent price point for the pigment.

i love this foundation when i am looking for a FULL coverage. when i say full coverage i mean it. this is meant to cover tattoos. it is very drying so i do not recommend this for dry skin because it will cling to your dry spots. it is long west but after a while i see sometimes it breaks upon my nose and chin area
Q & A
What is the best way to apply? fingers? brush? beauty blender?
Okay, I've been eyeing this for a while but I just don't want to buy a high end foundation again and be as disappointed as I was with the Too Faced Born This Way 😩 I have oily, acne prone, combination skin with a super dry nose. I have a lot of redness from acne and so on and I want something that covers it all instantly! I want something that stays matte all day, with or without primer, and doesn't melt off no matter the weather. I am super light (like ghost light) as well with a yellow undertone and wonder if they have any good shades. Does it oxidize? Does it wear off around the nose? Can you apply it both with a Beauty Blender and a brush? Would you say this is a foundation for me?
Does this foundation come on very thick?
I have Rosacea, would this be able to cover up my rosy red cheeks?
I really want to give this foundation a try and I have been hearing mixed reviews. Is this product worth the money or should I try something different?
