It is a good high end foundation option! The coverage is incredible, covers more than a concealer! But i had a hard time learning how to blend it nicely so it didn’t look cakey or heavy. But after I got the hang of it, it was a good option for nights when I needed something that would last!

I was skeptical at first because I’m pretty set in my ways. But after getting this in a complementary box I tried it out and absolutely love it. So much so that I’ll be making the switch permanently. The coverage legit lasts allll day. And the color matched perfectly, something that I struggle with. Absolutely love it! It’s a little more oily than I’m used to so it may not be for everyone though!

This foundation was amazing as a full coverage makeup. When I first purchased it I was worried that the color was off but I stuck with it because I was given many compliments. I started breaking out after a few days of wearing the foundation although my routine hadn’t changed and I didn’t try any other new products. I kept using the foundation for exactly one month and my skin continued to get worse during that time. Unfortunately, I had to switch back to my previous foundation which was a bummer because I had heard so many good things about the Kat Von D Lock-It Tattoo Foundation.

Kat Von D Lock-It Tattoo Foundation is my holy grail foundation and it’s my favorite one I own! It’s very thick and high coverage which I love. It hides every imperfection on my face, which is what I look for most in a high coverage foundation. One of my favorite things about it is that I can mix it with other foundations very easily if I have to! It has very convenient pump and very pretty packaging. Kat Von D is on my favorite brands!
If I could say 100 stars I would!!! I love this stuff and all of her products are cruelty free. Extra stars! The coverage is amazing and it is a bit on the thicker side so I tend to mix it a bit with my moisturizer. I can’t say enough about all of her products but this is by far the best!!

This foundation is very complicated to rate. It has it’s pros & cons. If you have dry skin DO NOT GET! I’ve used this on my dry skin clients & I quickly realized how much of a mistake that was. It’s a very matte foundation & it sucks into your skin. You will look very matte & cakey & dry. You will look like spongebob when he’s asking sandy for water. If you have more oily skin it is great. It’s matte & your oily skin will not seep through it. It does last all night it will not move. So if you’re dry its a no but for oily skin even combination skin you can get away with it just be careful.
So this is a very full coverage foundation. I have this if I want a flawless skin this is the product to get and cost 36 dollars which is cheaper than the other foundations I get. So worth it. It can hide tats and blemishes if you have one and if you don’t and just want a nice matte finish full coverage. Than this is the product to try out
I know this is a raved about product, but it didn't work for me. For me, this just didn't work out. It looks so cakey and thick on my skin, it's too matte, and oxidizes on me to straight orange. Not a fan.

I didn’t love this foundation of because I don’t think the color matched me/they don’t have a color that really matches me. It is definitely full coverage and a little goes along way! It is more liquidey than thick so I wasn’t a big fan of that because it tended to smudge and not stay where I wanted it to go

I love the full coverage, however because there is so much pigment in these, I had to add some moisturizer to it when applying so it wouldn't be so drying on my face. Will definitely buy again. Full coverage for a low price, while other brands only have medium coverage for a higher price.
Q & A
What is the best way to apply? fingers? brush? beauty blender?
Okay, I've been eyeing this for a while but I just don't want to buy a high end foundation again and be as disappointed as I was with the Too Faced Born This Way 😩 I have oily, acne prone, combination skin with a super dry nose. I have a lot of redness from acne and so on and I want something that covers it all instantly! I want something that stays matte all day, with or without primer, and doesn't melt off no matter the weather. I am super light (like ghost light) as well with a yellow undertone and wonder if they have any good shades. Does it oxidize? Does it wear off around the nose? Can you apply it both with a Beauty Blender and a brush? Would you say this is a foundation for me?
Does this foundation come on very thick?
I have Rosacea, would this be able to cover up my rosy red cheeks?
I really want to give this foundation a try and I have been hearing mixed reviews. Is this product worth the money or should I try something different?
