Full coverage comes at a price. This foundation definitely has the ability to cover dark circles and hyper pigmentation but it can go super thick quickly. Very important to moisturize and hydrate your skin beforehand and use a good primer. Not a friend to dry skinned gals, will cling to every patch. Sometimes I mix in some Argan oil to thin out the foundation and not have it look so thick. Aside from the thickness it's worth a try if you have stuff you wanna cover and are looking for full coverage.
In my opinion, I think this foundation is better than Estée Lauder Double Wera Stay In Place Foundation. Both of them gives full coverage, but I like the look of the skin with this foundation on than the skin with Estee foundation on. This Kat Von D Lock It foundation has very thick cream consistency. It's very creamy when you applying it, but dry up pretty quick once set. It last all day. The packaging is very nice. Very practical. It came with the pump. The bottom of the tube that contains foundation inside shrinked up when you squeezed the product out. So you can see how much product you have left.

This foundation saves the day! It is a full coverage but not cake formula that hides dark undereyes circles as well as camouflaging acne scars or redness in the skin. I am currently using this and loving it to the max. It's so smooth and soft on the skin. The casing is beautiful and makes us g it that much easier. It dispenses the perfect amount so you won't have too much or too little. I typically use one pump. On days that I want a lighter formula I mix this with my tarte maracaju oil just one drop and it does the trick.

Love it! It really is full coverage and lasts all day. Sweat, tears and even humidity have met their match! No oily phone screens! No makeup transfer to my shirts! Did I mention the compliments I have received while wearing this! I wish there was a little more color options, because I feel I'm either yellow or grey in the tones closest to mine, but still look be this product! You get a lot of product for the price and the bottle is designed so that you aren't left scraping out the product before tossing it.

I was SO SAD. Hear me out: the coverage was UNBELIEVABLE. I loved that it could literally cover anything. The formula was a little heavy and thick, but it's a full coverage foundation so I 100% expected that. Here's the problem - the smell. Like burning, melting plastic or acrylic. I looked online for some reviews hoping I wasn't the only one, and lo and behold - LOTS of people were experiencing the same thing! I just couldn't get past the smell. I'm hoping it was just a bad batch, because it's an amazing product.
This is great for a night out. I love the staying power of this. My only complaint is you have to be careful on how much you use. If you are just a little to heavy handed this can start to look a little cakey. I also feel if you have dry skin this will stick to your dry patches. I like to use a moisturizing primer with this to help it glide on better over my skin. I would recommend this for normal to oily skin.

Of all the foundations available on the market this is the #One for me. Kat von d lock it foundation is a blessing for my skin type!! I'm super oily and when I say oily I mean oily!! Keeps me looking young but keeps my makeup a mess!!! I started using Kats formula about 3 years ago and I'm never looking back. The formula is super pigmented for example I use only 2 bottles a Year and I wear a full face 5 days a week!!! A pea size is it and it completely covers my face. Now I love beauty blender but do not like using it to apply this I use a Sephora pro #58 and Sephora pro visionary slanted short haired brush to blend it out completely. It makes my skin look completely airbrushed. The variety of shades are quite extensive especially since she added to the shade range and changed the packaging earlier this year. I love how Kat puts so much effort into pleasing her customers. Her line is so amazing and innovative as well. With this foundation a bit of rcma setting powder as well as Kats lock it powder my makeup stays all night. I still get a bit oily but I use my tatcha blotting papers and I'm back on point. On another note I notice with other brands of full coverage foundation that are especially matte they tend to oxidize through out the wearing process, but this one stays true with no changing or fading!!! I only speak for myself but I review based on my own experience!! So I encourage everyone to give something a shot mixed reviews or not!!!😎😎😎😎#bestfoundation #influensterawards #rideordie

I really like this foundation more than I thought I would. It reminds me of the Urban Decay all nighter, except UD defined all my pores which sucked. It looked like I was wearing a caked sheet over my face and everything showed up. With this, a little goes a long way, really. It's full coverage but very natural looking and a clean finish. It looks like you just naturally have flawless skin. It lasts all day long and it makes my skin feel very smooth this has to be my favorite product from kat Von D
This product is wonderful! The formula and pigment are amazing. I usually don’t wear such pigmented colors but these look wonderful on my skin especially for my light complexion. I always recothis brand to my clients.
Q & A
What is the best way to apply? fingers? brush? beauty blender?
Okay, I've been eyeing this for a while but I just don't want to buy a high end foundation again and be as disappointed as I was with the Too Faced Born This Way 😩 I have oily, acne prone, combination skin with a super dry nose. I have a lot of redness from acne and so on and I want something that covers it all instantly! I want something that stays matte all day, with or without primer, and doesn't melt off no matter the weather. I am super light (like ghost light) as well with a yellow undertone and wonder if they have any good shades. Does it oxidize? Does it wear off around the nose? Can you apply it both with a Beauty Blender and a brush? Would you say this is a foundation for me?
Does this foundation come on very thick?
I have Rosacea, would this be able to cover up my rosy red cheeks?
I really want to give this foundation a try and I have been hearing mixed reviews. Is this product worth the money or should I try something different?
