Kat Von D Lock-It Tattoo Foundation
This is my favorite foundation. It covers EVERYTHING. Freckles, blemishes, you name it...it's gone! I apply a normal amount to my face and it blends so well, while still hiding any imperfections that you would want to cover. I will never use any other foundation again. I was surprised by this product. For some reason, I always avoided it. Up until this point I have despised super full coverage foundations. The tiniest drop of this product will go above and beyond. I’m not kidding when I say I didn’t even use a full pump of this foundation. It completely evened my red skin tone and covered all of my blemishes, without feeling too heavy or cakey. It lasts forever and does not budge even on my super oily skin (I set it with loose powder). Before and after pics attached for comparison.
This foundation is one of the best Ive tried. As long as you use it in a moderate amount it should last you a full days wear. There is a fragrance to it and the closest think in my mind is that it smells like bananas lol. Its full coverage and it makes your skin look flawless. Definitely recommend & would buy again
I received this foundation from influencer to test out. I had previously used this foundation but because I like trying new brands, I had switched. I found that when applying this foundation the formula and coverage were phenomenal, but as the day went on I found it to feel too heavy for every day wear. I typically go for a light weight, natural look during the week, so this too full coverage and thick for me. It would be perfect if you wanted to wear a full face of makeup to an event or a night out though, as it does last all day and covers EVERYTHING! I do recommend trying this if you love full coverage, I think you'll be happy with this!

Let’s start out by saying that I normally have dry skin so I was a little worried about this foundation picking up on my dry spots. If you have a great moisturizer I recommend using it first then a pore primer! Once you have that this foundation gives you full coverage like you wouldn’t believe! A little goes a long way! And i feIt it applied best with a beauty blender better than a brush! give it 4 stars because I wish I didn’t have to use all the before steps to avoid dry patches making those areas look cakey. But will buy again! And to add face primer is a must and does a better job than a regular moisturizer when using this foundation
I order this product I had to return it because I really thought it was expire, the smell of the product was to strong for me the coverage was great, I returned it cause I was really not going to wear it and the I got a sample to see the smell and it was the same. For me this product just doesn’t have a good smell.
Very full coverage but his can become very cakey super fast so I would recommend using this foundation with a light hand and a damp beauty blender or sponge. You do not need to set his foundation whatsoever because it dries down very matte and it does not crease or settle into facial lines. My only issue with this foundation is that it emphasizes every bit of texture that I may have. Just like a matte lippie I would recommend exfoliating and moisturizing before application to get a very smooth application. Overall a rest full coverage foundation. I would recommend to anyone with combo to oily skin who need a long lasting full coverage foundation.
This is a really good foundation, the shade range is awesome and it’s full coverage and didn’t settle into my lines. However it was kind of heavy too wear all day but it did last very long. I think the heaviness is a small price to pay for a good foundation like this but that decision is ultimately up to the purchaser!

I have recently purchased this and so far I'm loving it! It is VERY full coverage and sits on the skin beautifully. The only few drawbacks I would point out would be that if you use too much it can quickly become cakey and if you have dry skin it may not be for you because it can make dry patches look even more dry. Overall a very great product and I would recommend!
I absolutely love this product and I'm so glad Influenster selected me to be able to try this product out for myself! I've always wanted to try it and i was not let down with this product, my color match was perfect and you only need a little bit because it does go a long way! I always go for full coverage foundations with a matte finish because i do have oily skin and this was perfect! I would definitely buy this myself again as soon as i run out! The product is actually inexpensive as well so that's a plus!
Q & A
What is the best way to apply? fingers? brush? beauty blender?
Okay, I've been eyeing this for a while but I just don't want to buy a high end foundation again and be as disappointed as I was with the Too Faced Born This Way 😩 I have oily, acne prone, combination skin with a super dry nose. I have a lot of redness from acne and so on and I want something that covers it all instantly! I want something that stays matte all day, with or without primer, and doesn't melt off no matter the weather. I am super light (like ghost light) as well with a yellow undertone and wonder if they have any good shades. Does it oxidize? Does it wear off around the nose? Can you apply it both with a Beauty Blender and a brush? Would you say this is a foundation for me?
Does this foundation come on very thick?
I have Rosacea, would this be able to cover up my rosy red cheeks?
I really want to give this foundation a try and I have been hearing mixed reviews. Is this product worth the money or should I try something different?
