Kat Von D Lock-It Tattoo Foundation
This product is my holy grail foundation! It's easy to work with and actually stays on my face all day and night, the formula seems thick when working it in but is actually really lightweight on the face once set. Will be regularly replacing this!!!!

I picked this up in Sephora two years ago when it was on a deal with the beauty blender and I haven’t gone back since. It’s buildable so if I want a light look I can and it is also very full coverage. It’s not too thick and doesn’t have a bad smell.

This is hands down the best foundation I've ever used. One pump is is enough for my whole face and the coverage is so full. The texture isn't slimy or drying and it lasts the whole day. I always get compliments on my skin when I wear this foundation!

My favourite foundation I have ever used. I have severe acne so I’m always looking for a foundation that is full coverage and not oily. It lasts all day is very easy to apply and the packaging is beautiful. It is quite pricey but 100% worth it 😍😍❤️
I absolutely love this product, it’s easy to apply, I have oily skin and it sits well on me and doesn’t oxidise, full coverage which is amazing for my skin, pros^ cons: a tad expensive, and can be hard to colour matchi recommend this to all my friends

I got this foundation a long time a go and I hardly ever used it because its so thick and heavy on my skin, I think this would be better for extremly oily skins, for combo or normal skin it will look too heavy, yes the coverage is great but it looks cakey AF
I feel like i would love this product if i hadnt been given the wrong shade. It is thick and high coverage but it doesnt feel heavy. As i said i was given the wrong shade its far too pale for me and im a really pale skinned gal, so a good shade range
The coverage of this foundation is very great, though the foundation is cakey and heavy. I found that it oxidized quite a bit, and the foundation around my nose and mouth would turn an almost orange colour. Would not repurchase this foundation again.

This product is really good if you are going for a full coverage. Not an everyday foundation well not for me anyways. I don't think that this is good for dry skin, if you do have it I suggest using a good hydrating primer (I use Laura Mercier)
Q & A
What is the best way to apply? fingers? brush? beauty blender?
Okay, I've been eyeing this for a while but I just don't want to buy a high end foundation again and be as disappointed as I was with the Too Faced Born This Way 😩 I have oily, acne prone, combination skin with a super dry nose. I have a lot of redness from acne and so on and I want something that covers it all instantly! I want something that stays matte all day, with or without primer, and doesn't melt off no matter the weather. I am super light (like ghost light) as well with a yellow undertone and wonder if they have any good shades. Does it oxidize? Does it wear off around the nose? Can you apply it both with a Beauty Blender and a brush? Would you say this is a foundation for me?
Does this foundation come on very thick?
I have Rosacea, would this be able to cover up my rosy red cheeks?
I really want to give this foundation a try and I have been hearing mixed reviews. Is this product worth the money or should I try something different?
