I was very excited to use this product at first. I was searching for a foundation that would have a matte finish that would also have full coverage. I have combination skin. Normal girl with an oily t-zone. I couldn't wait to finally get home and use this foundation when I got my hands on it. However I was very disappointed. It was difficult to blend, didn't have a great coverage and it oxidized very quickly leaving me with a more orange tone. It also began to get very oily during the day even with the porefessional primer, setting powder and the UD all nighter setting spray. Would not recommend

This foundation is FULL coverage, it makes your skin look so even! Unfortunately, it's a very thick, moussy consistency that tends to stick to dry patches. I reccomend using a hydrating primer/moisturiser underneath to give it some slip and help blend it out, it doesn't move once it's dry. The "Medium 53 Neutral" colour is EXTREMELY yellow, make sure you get a good colour match!

Awesome foundation, loved it.Important things to note:It is a high-coverage concealer. More than one pump is sometimes too much.It has a matte finish, and is extremely long wearing, so it stays matte.A lot of the times, especially with certain setting powders, I could feel the foundation on my face throughout the day. However, with her setting powder (which is very lightweight), the foundation felt weightless. The foundation oxidizes differently depending on what setting spray you use, not sure why this is, maybe it's just me.

Has great coverage however no matter what I did how little I used it always ended up looking cakey and it oxidized a lot. I have oily skin and thought this would be great but it’s just too matte where it feels really heavy on the skin. I bought this in light 44 before she came out with new shades because light 44 is extremely orange I usually go for ivory in other brands I would probably be matched better to light 42 however for how it sits on my face and feels is not worth the coverage it provides and I no longer use it.

This foundation was not for me. I bought this from Sephora and it was one of my color iq results, so I decided to try it out. The woman at Sephora tested it out on my skin in-store and it looked fine there. But ounce I took it home and tried, it was wayyy to yellow and very cakey. If you like really full coverage and have not a lot of Pores then this is for you but if not, I would skip it and try a different foundation. For the punt that you get and the price, I would say it's worth it but other then that I would pass.

Let me start off by saying that KVD line never disappoints me! The formulas, colors, pigmentation is all on key. This foundation is a pretty full coverage foundation, just what I like for the nights im out, or whenever I'm wearing a full glam look. It goes on flawlessly and literally leaves you looking airbrushed. Unfortunately, this started to crease literally everywhere on me. It started to separate around my nose and become patchy. I have oily skin, but thought at least the mattifying aspect of this foundation would've helped!

Sephora employee I went to got me the wrong shade for my skin (lol), but this is a really soft and gentle foundation. I love the texture and coverage, it's nice to pat down onto the skin with brush or blender for me and I'll definitely be buying it again - just in the right shade (I'm a mix of Porcelain and Fair! right around there, so probably 41 light neutral) this time lol. Definitely recommend moisturizing prior too, but I always do anyways. uvu (To clarify, I mix it with a lighter shade foundation to match my skin!)

I wanted to love this, but I just didn't. I do have oily skin so this is supposed to be good for my skin type, but it didn't seem to matter how I applied it, it just didn't work. I tried with and without primer, applying with fingers, a brush, a beauty blender, with a setting poweder (loose and pressed) and without -- nothing worked well for me. It is very high coverage, so that's great. For the first little while it looks great, but then it starts to settle into any lines/pores and somehow seems to smudge off if I accidentally touched my face at all. Then, in my oily areas it would separate.
I know lots of people with oily skin swear by this stuff, but it wasn't for me. 3 Stars only because it is high coverage as promised, and if I only had to last 2 hours, it looked flawless during that short time.

I have a love/hate relationship with this foundation. It covers all my blemishes like a dream but seems to be a little oily if not set correctly?!? I have extremely oily skin and the consistency of the product is gel like, So when I first swatched it I knew it wasn't going to be amazing. I persevered though as I had heard it works wonders for oily skin, I can agree half heartedly. It's got a great coverage but I think Kat should think about making a more matte one. This is definitely not dewy but could be better?!?

Kaf Von D's foundation is, in my opinion, not the worst but not the best foundation I have ever tried, yes it is full coverage but is not easy to work, not with a Beauty Blender neither with a brush. I have tried it so many times and I gave up to it. I love Kat Von D's products but this foundation disappointed me.

There is a posibility that it may work for TV because it is very heavy on what coverage refers to.

Okay, I've been eyeing this for a while but I just don't want to buy a high end foundation again and be as disappointed as I was with the Too Faced Born This Way 😩 I have oily, acne prone, combination skin with a super dry nose. I have a lot of redness from acne and so on and I want something that covers it all instantly! I want something that stays matte all day, with or without primer, and doesn't melt off no matter the weather. I am super light (like ghost light) as well with a yellow undertone and wonder if they have any good shades. Does it oxidize? Does it wear off around the nose? Can you apply it both with a Beauty Blender and a brush? Would you say this is a foundation for me?

I really want to give this foundation a try and I have been hearing mixed reviews. Is this product worth the money or should I try something different?
