Kat Von D Lock-It Tattoo Foundation
This is an absolute staple for a night out! Full coverage foundation that looks flawless on the skin! Doesn’t feel heavy or cakey. It’s beautiful! Would highly recommend! Colour matches are great! I tend to go for a deeper shade on a night out because I use fake tan! All round great foundation!

This foundation is definitely on heavy side but it's not uncomfortable, and also it' more full coverage and long lasting. If I want that perfect dewy finish look that stays all day and I don't have to think about it, it's my go to. And definitely you can apply it easy, if you need foundation that stays all day long don't move or crack on your face that this one will be perfect for you!
It’s so good it covers a lot but you need to Mostar is your skin very well before because it’s a very thick formula it’s so good covers everything I love it so muchq it’s great. Project team need to have one of them
I have been using this foundation for years and though I try to branch out and try new ones I seem to always gravitate back to this one. The coverage is amazing and perfect for my skin which has acne scars and redness. The only problem is that it can get a little heavy and dry sometimes especially during the winter in which case I would mix in some B.B. cream with it to soften it up.

I really do like this foundation, specially the price is amazing, it's not too expensive or to cheap. Pros: medium to full coverage, long lasting, doesn't transfer easly. Cons: A litlle drying sometimes, but if the skin is well moisturized is going to look amazing, and also even though is full coverage, it's not the biggest coverage in the world. But still a very nice foundation!

Very very heavy foundation it doesn’t look natural and my skin feels weird. It covers everything but I found through the day it looked okaaay. The foundation doesn’t breathe well at all. I think this foundation is okay for a couple of hours not the entire day. The whole claim about using a tiny amount of product for the entire face is true, but the product sets very fast. So I recommend applying in sections for a more flawless finish.

This actually covers tattoo’s 😂 I was suuuuuper sceptical at first but it honestly does! It is flawless on your skin but can completely dry out your skin if left on too long (aka don’t fall asleep in it) I removed one star for the heavy feeling it has on your skin, it’s almost too thick 🙄 I love it at night with the translucent setting powder though 🙂
I really enjoy this product and have been finding myself going back to it on days where I feel like I need a bit more coverage. It definitely is more on the thick side so those who don’t like thick foundations will hate the application process, but just because it applies thick does not mean it is cakey. I didn’t find it to settle into any creases on my face like some others have.
Q & A
What is the best way to apply? fingers? brush? beauty blender?
Okay, I've been eyeing this for a while but I just don't want to buy a high end foundation again and be as disappointed as I was with the Too Faced Born This Way 😩 I have oily, acne prone, combination skin with a super dry nose. I have a lot of redness from acne and so on and I want something that covers it all instantly! I want something that stays matte all day, with or without primer, and doesn't melt off no matter the weather. I am super light (like ghost light) as well with a yellow undertone and wonder if they have any good shades. Does it oxidize? Does it wear off around the nose? Can you apply it both with a Beauty Blender and a brush? Would you say this is a foundation for me?
Does this foundation come on very thick?
I have Rosacea, would this be able to cover up my rosy red cheeks?
I really want to give this foundation a try and I have been hearing mixed reviews. Is this product worth the money or should I try something different?
