Kat Von D Lock-it Setting Powder
Cannot express how great this is! It is one of the finest setting powders I have ever used. Making it easy to blend and very light on the skin. It smells lovely, lasts long and a little goes a very long way. The packaging is gorgeous and works well as the excess product easily falls back into the container meaning that you do not lose a lot of product. Highly recommend this it works well for baking and setting the face all over.
This was my first time buying a loose setting powder and I'm really impressed. Been using it for about a month now and it really does what it's supposed to. It helps keep your make up matte without drying your skin out! You get a lot of product too so I think it will last a really long time! No flashback on selfies either haha. The only thing I dislike is the packaging a lot of product comes out and can get everywhere!
this setting powder works really good! kat von d is an excellent brand so you wont feel disappointed. You can set your makeup or simply bake it without looking like you throw talcum powder on your face since it is translucent... a little bit expensive but anyways a great buy!
I will never use another setting powder again! For baking the face it is a-maze-ing! I use it to set my under eye and any other concealor i use on my face. It gives a matte/natural finish depending on how long i bake for. For best use i tip the powder on into the lid then dip a beauty blender into the product and dab on the parts of my face i wish to bake. It is such a good size you get so much product- worth every penny!
When I started using setting powders, I had to find one that would match my complexion. Kat Von D setting powder was the only one to match. For the price tag, the packaging is beautiful and reminds me of Kat and you get a lot of product that goes a long way. When baking with this product my make up is on for hours and looking flawless. The only 1 downfall is there is a bit of a shimmer to it but it can definitely be overlooked. I have repurchased this product and will continue to do so.
I found this had some sparkly aspect to it when I looked in the powder. I’m not a huge fan of that as I like more of a natural/matte finish on my face then add shimmer with my highlight, but it still worked well for me and didn’t make me oily throughout the day! I did also find that for the price, it didn’t carry much product in it compared to Laura mercier or even drug store brands. Wouldn’t be my go to but still enjoyed it.
This is a great setting powder. Ultra brightening and definitely locks makeup in all day. It looks beautiful upon application. I just find it doesn’t look as natural as some other powders. The powder has a bit of mica in it which gives the skin a very subtle iridescence. While that sounds great, after wearing it all day in the heat, I find it doesn’t keep me as matte as some other powders like the LM for example.
Anytime I wear any kind of foundation this is my go to powder that I set it with. This product is $38.00 at Sephora so kind of on the more expensive side but completely worth it because this product lasts for a long time! I use this powder when I’m baking my face and it always makes my makeup look matte and helps to brighten up my face! I’ve also never had a problem with flashback in photos when I’ve used this!
I was looking for a great powder that could set my makeup but one that I could also bake with. I've heard a lot about this one and people said it was almost the same than the Laura Mercier. I was a bit disappointed by this powder, even if I realllly love Kat Von D. It marked all my dry spots and doesn't work for me to bake and stuff but it set your makeup correctly and looks okay if you don't apply to much!
Absolutely fantastic powder! It really is translucent too so it won't affect the colour of your foundation at all. A little really goes a long way so this product (despite its price point) is absolutely worth every penny as it lasts for ever!! It's great used as a setting powder before applying eyeshadow too if you need to magnify the lid before applying colours. Would buy again and again if it ever runs out!

It works perfect for the braking?
Is this powder any good?? does it look cakey at all? does it compare to the laura mercier translucent powder?
Is this worth for the price?
