Kat Von D Lock-it Setting Powder
I love this setting powder! I mostly only use it to set my under-eye concealer, but it does such a great job of preventing creases and giving a smooth, airbrushed look to the skin. My makeup tends to melt off around my nose and under-eyes, and I notice that it lasts much longer when I use this powder. Plus, the container is huuuge so it lasts forevaaa
I was searching for a new setting/baking powder when I came across this product. The first time I used it was absolutely amazing & I won't be switching powders anytime soon! This is such an amazing product that leaves your face feeling so soft as well as doing the job.
I received this powder from influenster to test. So excited that I did because it is the best translucent setting powder I've tried. Non drying and doesn't give you a caked on look. The powder is so finely milled it goes on smoothly and feels weightless
Love this powder! I have used Laura Mercier for a long time and it's just as lightweight and amazing. I use it for under the eye and all over the face. No shimmer or flashback. And the tub is huge you will have product for a long time! Def repurchase!
I love KVD Cosmetics! While there have been a few misses in her line - I really love this setting powder. I have oily skin, which separates my foundation (oil+water separates, foundation has water in it - get it?) while my foundation inevitably separates by the end of the day, this helps lock it down for the work day, or evening out. Worth the splurge!
I really like this setting powder. It goes on very easily but can be very messy depending on how much powder you pick up with your brush. It’s initially good for oily skin but throughout the day I feel like my makeup slips or I get more oily. It lasts a long time depending on how often you use it. I’ve bought it twice and it is my go to setting powder!
For the holidays, you're running around and your skin sweats trust me.this setting spray will fix that for you. It's so worth the price bc just a dab and your make up is locked and loaded for your busy holiday schedule where touch ups is not an option
I like this powder, though, not my absolute favorite. I prefer matte setting powders. While this one does provide mostly matte finish, it doesn't last super long. This is my first time using this product and I probably won't buy again. You do get a decent amount of product for the price though.
I usually love Kat Von D products without fail. But I just couldn't get into the setting powder. I have oily skin so you would think it would be perfect for me. It finishes perfectly matte. But it just accentuated my pores and settled into any lines. Not to mention I felt like the powder itself affected the colors of my face makeup!! Not good at all.
Perfect setting powder! It's farily new so most people don't know about it but when I set my foundation and creams with it, it does not budge and stays set all day! It instantly mattifies my face and does not leave a white tint (which is saying something for someone with darker skin!). It can get quite messy but that's expected with all loose powders.
