Kat Von D Lock-it Setting Powder
One of the most finely milled setting powders out there. I love it but I have to be careful when my skin is drier or in the colder months. I do also get flashback with this, so if that’s a concern you may want to proceed with caution.
This is definitely tied with number one powder. This bakes and sets my face to look flawless and works to keep the liquids I use on all day, Estée Lauder Double Wear and NARS creamy concealer. I have found it doesn’t work the best with shape tape though. I don’t get creasing under my eye and it doesn’t dry out the areas I use it. I would recommend this powder to anyone wanting to try it!!
This product, like most Kat Von D products, was excruciatingly drying. You want a setting powder to lock in a look and keep you from getting oily, but this one just made me look chalky and dried out. It clinged to dry patches I didn't know I had before using this powder.
A little product goes a long way and it feels so soft and silky and looks natural on the skin, rather than chalky or textured. The sifter prevents you from making a mess and wasting product. Works great if you like to bake your face but does leave a kind of white cast if too much is used.
This is one of my holy grail products. Most powders cling to my undereye area and make it look very dry. But I’ve had no problems with this powder. It definitely blurs the under eye area and makes it look so good!
I really wanted to love this powder but i just dont. It sits really weird on my skin. It settles into my pores instead of minimizing them, and if u try ans bake with it then wipe the bake away it leaves this shiney cast. It also doesnt set my concealer good at all. I say if u want to spend your money on a good powder then go ahead and purchase the laura mercier translucent setting powder.
This powder is one of my favorite setting powders I have ever used. As someone who has oily skin, this was the perfect powder to bake with. There was no flashback in photos and it didn't leave a white cast. Also this product lasts forever. The amount you get with the price is really quite impressive. I have always been a big kat von d fan and this powder is one of my favorites.
Very nice translucent powder! I feel like it helps with oil control which is great because I have very oily skin. You can also put some more on through out the day if needed without it looking cakey
