Kat Von D Lock-it Setting Powder
I love this setting powder!!!! It works amazingly, the only reason I am giving it four stars instead of five is because there is a slight shimmer/glitter in the powder which I was not expecting and which is something I personally don't like for every day use but don't mind for special occasions!!! Taking the glittery aspect out of it, this setting powder gets a 5/5
I absolutely love the translucent quality of this lightweight setting powder. Often powders can make a face look dull, but this powder adds a nice matte finish while setting the make-up underneath. I also like how natural the finished look is, so unlike anything I have tried before.
I received this as part of my Vox Box free from Influenster. I was really excited to try this product. I have been loving her contour pallet for a while not and was excited to try this powder. The packaging is amazing - the sifter is star shaped (totally a Kat Von D thing)! The powder works really well for setting my entire face including under the eyes. It keeps everything in place. I have been enjoying this product and will probably repurchase when I finish. The price is fair for the amount of product you get.
I sampled this while getting a makeover at Sephora, and I've used it ever since. My skin gets shiny in no time, and this helps calm it down and helps my makeup stay in place.
This is a translucent powder and unlike some powders, doesn't look chalky or cakey. It sets matte but might have a bit of sheen because it looks natural and not chalky matte. Applying just a little of this sets my under eye concealer and my foundation on my entire face. This is my new favorite setting powder! I received this from influenster in the Kat Von d VoxBox.
Another product I love, its been a hassle trying to find a setting powder that doesn't make me look white when I take pictures, I use this to not only set my under eyes but I also use it to bake n i would never use anything else
I had to have it... I bought the foundation so... to say a few bucks I bought the trial size for $15. I love the little sparkle that in in this lock it powder. It adds the perfect finishing touches to your make up Routine. I love Lat Von D make up so I have to be honest ... I love this too... get the trial size first to see if you like it... but be for warned... you will end up getting the larger one...
This setting powder is amazing! It sets my makeup so that it last all day and also seems to smooth it out. While I received this from Influenster, the jar contains A LOT of powder, so I would definitely buy this again for the large amount you receive. Unlike white translucent powder, which I used to use, this goes on more naturally and blends much better,
I've been using this powder daily for months (received for free to test) and love it. It has a matte finish and is completely translucent, avoiding the white cast some powders can give. It really helps prevent your skin from looking too oily throughout the day. The only issue is how big the packaging is so you can't carry it with you. Otherwise I love using it!
One of my favorite translucent powders. I used to use Laura Mercier every day until I came across the beauty.. definitely recommend for lighter complexions but this product does not give any creases and actually fully covers my under eyes without making them look even worse, which is what the Laura Mercier translucent powder would do after a long period of time. Not this one- this lasts all night and provides excellent coverage.
Q & A
I looked through Q&A and noticed term "baking" that I don't quite understand. What does it mean in the context of setting powders?
Is this good for oily skin? Does it actually work
It works perfect for the braking?
Is this powder any good?? does it look cakey at all? does it compare to the laura mercier translucent powder?
Is this worth for the price?
