Kat Von D Lock-it Setting Powder
I've been on the hunt to find a setting powder that actually works. When I found out Kat came out with one, I picked one up as soon as I could. The jar is WAAAYYY bigger than I expected. You get so much product at a good price. It does have a slight shimmer, but it's nothing too noticeable on the skin. I have incredibly oily sensitive skin. I used this to set my foundation and concealer, wore it for 6 hours, and had zero creasing or separation. Made my skin look amazing! Also VERY happy that this setting powder is vegan and cruelty free!
I also received this in my voxbox and oh my what an amazing thing it is! I have combination skin so this was perfect being that it was super easy to apply and lightweight. I my makeup lasted through a full party and a black out where I had a little too much to drink lol so it definitely works. Btw my skin is darker and it still works perfectly not too light. Buy it$
I love this. Loveeee it! It doesn't cake up, it leaves a nice matte finish but not overwhelmingly flat. It's smooth and lasts all day. It definitely gets the job done.
I received this product for free from Influenster for review. I've never really liked translucent powders. I don't ever notice a difference with them and find that they sink into fine lines. I like this one so far, I've only used it a few times. I don't think I'd spend the money on it personally as I don't see a difference when I use. But if you like translucent powders I do like this more than the raved about Laura Mercier one. It is a very fine powder and goes on smoothly. You also get a TON of product so it will last you a long time.
I recently became a fan of this, thanks to Influenster. I had been using mineral powder to set my face for the longest time, and it's just not the same result as you get with an actual finish powder. I wasn't able to find one that didn't leave my face feeling cake-y, and to be honest I was a little hesitant to try this product but in the end I LOVED it. It helped keep my concealer from creasing (hello greasy eye area) and it also had a silk like feeling that went well with my preferred dewy makeup. It definitely helps your face appear more smooth and is long lasting.
When I turned 45 my skin did a complete 360! I had to get rid of all of my mineral foundations and powders as these made my skin look dry and wrinkled. I have switched to liquid, glow from within type of foundations. I was surprised how much I really like this product.t . I use the Lock it setting powder brush and both work wonderful together. A little product goes a long way without making my face look like a white mask. I would call the finish on this as satin and does not settle into lines or wrinkles. Definitely a keeper!
I used this when I had some photos done & it did a great job of setting my makeup when I baked it, esp under the eyes. It doesn't come in a translucent option though and I would prefer that
THIS IS THE ULTIMATE SETTING POWDER. This powder sets your makeup flawlessly, and a little goes a long way. This powder helps keep your makeup on longer, and doesn't give a cakey appearance. The powder itself is extremely soft and finely milled. I love how flawless my makeup looks after I set it with this powder. The packaging is also beautiful and lightweight, the sifter being in the shape of a star is an added bonus. I received these products free from Influenster for an honest review. All opinions are my own. Highly recommend.
this powder is my favorite . I love how it dosent have a flash back when you take pictures , I know a lot of setting powerders do . This is great for baking your undereyes because it helps the creases and makes it not crease , and for cleaning up your conture
