Kat Von D Lock-it Setting Powder
The packaging is beautiful and the size is very generous compared to other brands. This is a very good value for the price. It has a subtle pearl finish which is good for brightening the skin. The finish is very soft and fine. I would recommend this for setting under eye concealer or setting your highlight. As a makeup artist, I would not use this on clients with very deep skin tones because this powder leaves a subtle white tone on the skin. Because of the pearl finish I would be reluctant to use this on excessively oily skin as well. I received this product complementary to review.
I'm in love with this powered! Doesn't leave me cakey. I have really oily skin and it's great. Also brightens my face wonderfully. Very good price for what you get! I will buy again. Totally recommend
The Kat Von D's Setting Powder is finely milled and ultra soft with a consistency similar to baby powder. It has a very subtle shimmer that makes your skin have a natural glow. It sets your makeup for hours at a time. I received mine courtesy of Influenster #KatVonD #LockItRevolution #VoxBox for testing and review purposes, but you can purchase yours at Sephora for $30.
This powder isn't that bad. I just don't use powders very much. I'm still learning how to use them properly. That being said, out of all I've tried, this one is def the best.
Love love love! So I got this product as a gift to try. I am not very into setting powders, and the only one I had used before is the Tarte one. Maybe my inexperience speaks for it self. I recently started using a new foundation and at the same time started using this setting powder. I must say, I LOVE IT! It sets it in perfectly, keeps the skin flawless and the make up pretty intact. I would definitely be buying this again. It keeps my skin oil free all day long. I am really pleased with it I must say. And obviously love the brand! The presentation of the products is flawless!
Not the greatest, I think it’s not fine enough of a powder, I doesn’t bake well and definitely doesn’t help with creasing. I was really sad I had high hopes but def not for me it’s so drying
