Again, another great product in Kat Von D's Lock-It line. I love all these products. I have a fairly oily t-zone, so setting my makeup is an absolute must. I have used this powder several times in the past and it works really well. I usually have to blot my t-zone after about 4-5 hours of wear, but with this powder, I don't find I have to do that near as often. This is a great powder for giving you that flawless finish, but if you are extremely oily, definitely expect to have to blot and touch up at some point, depending on how long you are wearing your makeup.

This setting powder is one of my all time favorites. I prefer the loose over the pressed because it is better for baking. I don’t like the little pad tool it comes with. I would definitely buy this again. I have dry under eyes and this doesn’t make it dryer. My favorite thing about this product other than it staying on for a long amount of time is that it doesn’t really have a smell which is a plus for loose powders since they sometimes tend to fly up around your nose and eyes.

I love this setting powder and will be getting the full size!

This keeps my foundation and concealer looking flawless without making my makeup looking cakey!

Another plus is that this powder doesn’t dry out my skin...I have seasonal changing skin lol in spring and summer I’m oily and when fall and winter hit my skin turns dry with randomly the occasional oily t-zone and this powder works amazing year round for me.

This is my new go to powder. It is so very fine and silky, but doesn’t cake up in the container like some very finely milled powders do. It bakes my under eyes nicely and doesn’t crease them. It sets my oily skin nicely and helps it look real life photoshopped all day. I don’t notice any caked residue like I do with some other setting powders. I highly recommend.

This is my favorite setting powder! I have dry/combination type skin, and this product does NOT dry me out! It has a smooth matte finish, and the price is quite reasonable! It’s slightly cheaper than Laura Mercier’s translucent setting powder. It is also not tinted, unlike drugstore brand setting powders I have tried. It is a light peachy skin color, but it pretty much translucent. I will definitely continue to buy this product!

I first bought this product because I never really used anything to set my face before. There was a time when I wasn't so into makeup, and then I kind of just loved it one day. Anyway, I went to Sephora and asked a worker about setting powders/sprays and she recommended this product. I already liked the KVD brand because of her eyeliner and everlasting lipstick, but this product is also amazing. First off, it smells realllllly good and I hope I'm not the only one who thinks that otherwise that probably sounds weird! It's a really light powder, it doesn't look cakey when you apply it. It's also a TON of product! I was surprised by that. The Sephora worker said this would be a really good color on me as well and I'm super pale, so I don't know if that helps any lol. Once I run out I might buy again - but since then I've gotten more into setting sprays than powders.

Very good powder. Light as air. Seriously. At one point I thought it wouldn’t set properly because of its light texture, but like all setting powders...one must PRESS the powder into your skin to see its effectiveness. Dusting it won’t do, if you’re trying to really set it. A little goes a long way. Another powder that has light-reflecting particles to avoid the flat appearance. I really appreciate that! I have both the regular and mini sizes!

After hearing the hype about this product, I was disapointed. It creased under my eyes so badly, that it looked like I had stripes! It didnt really keep my oily t-zone at bay, but it was a particularly humid time of the year when I tested this out. I did also try it during the cooler, drier months, and it did perform slightly better. But not good enough for me to keep it, I ended up giving it to a friend who enjoys it.

This is one of the first products I’ve tried from kat Von D. I got this from Sephora because I am always excited to try new setting powders. Now Let me start of by saying it’s not good for oily skin. Yes, it’s easy to apply but doesn’t wear nicely on oily skin. Made me more oily than what I already am and looked cakey. I lasted matte for about an hour I believe and I couldn’t handle the oilyness so I removed all my makeup. It also gives flash back which sucks. I was very disappointed with this product. I’m sure they can better it. I don’t recommend this to people with oily skin.

I LOVE THIS SETTING POWDER! My absolute go-to for my day to day. it gives me a nice, matte finish and makes my makeup stay put through the day. And there’s no flashback for pictures! Amazing amazing AMAZING! Very comfortable to wear and does’t make your skin feel too dry. I recommend this to anyone that ever asks about setting powder. This paired with my Urban Decay All Nighter Long-Lasting Makeup Setting Spray is a match made in makeup heaven. Definitely give it a try if you haven’t already!

I looked through Q&A and noticed term "baking" that I don't quite understand. What does it mean in the context of setting powders?
