Kat Von D Lock-it Setting Powder
It definitely LOCKS everything in place! I love how my makeup looks every time I use this product. The coverage is great, it sets concealer amazingly, and lasts all day. It’s no joke. I have oily skin and this saves me a whole lot. I am the type of person who always has to set and powder my face or else I will look like a greaseball in two hours. Great product!
I did not know what I was getting myself into when I was looking for setting powders. I have neutral skin when it comes to oily or dry. The setting powder is easy to use and does just enough to make my freckles disappear enough to not make a scene. I am only giving this product a 4 because I am still new to the setting powder stage.
At first, I really liked this. It did keep my face matte and oil free for the most part. However, after trying a different setting powder I realized this one wasn't as great as I thought it was. It is very thick, very white on the skin which causes a lot of flash back, and worst of all... it contains Talc which is really bad for you.
Uhm, where has this been all my life?! No, seriously I picked this up the other day, and now I am obsessed. Nothing has set my under eye (face) so well!! I bought the pearl, and it looks so beautiful. I am so impressed. It was $25 but I think it is worth it. I only use when I really do a full face so it will probably last me a little while.
This powder is nice for setting your entire face with. You can bake with it as well. The powder is great for all skin types, even if you're dry because it has a satin finish to it, it's actually not fully matte. It has little light reflecting particles in it to give it a glow. One of the only non fully matte setting powders out there.
What can I say! I love love this Setting Powder! It’s super light and works on top of any foundation. It has a slight bit of light reflecting properties which I like for a more natural less cakey look. The packaging is super cute with the KVD logo on top and a star shaped shaker inside. I purchased this from Sephora. I will buy again.
I love this powder! I recently bought it and I was not disappointed! I put it on after my liquid foundation and it helped give my face that matte finish without looking "cakey" from the just liquid foundation on it's own. I tend to have oily skin so this helped absorb the oil and give myself the desired matte look I was hoping for.
I could never find a translucent powder that really works for me and does not leave white patches and gives flash back and I have very oil skin it's my favorite now I love it it's not too pricey I love it I will definitely buy it again
Best setting powder available. I use it to bake under my eyes. It never creases and it lasts all day. I also use it as a setting powder all over my face which never cakes up on my face. I have bought this over and over again one of my favorites
I use this product when ever I want a full makeup look to stay put. The setting powder spreads easily and you get a lot of product which helps offset the cost. This provides you with a matte finish and helps keep the skin looking matte for a long period of time through out the day. I live in a very hot climate so sweating is common, this does a greta job at keeping my makeup in place.
