Kat Von D Lock-it Setting Powder
I love this setting powder. It is so light on the face and isn't cakey like other powders I've worn. I also really love that it doesn't have a minerally smell, I'm usually so sensitive to the kick up of setting powders that I can't apply them without coughing my head off but no problems with this one.
Since I got this (actually, my first one was from Influenster, but I've since repurchased twice), it's my fave to keep my concealer on all day. It doesn't give me the usually powdery finish but does keep any concealer I apply looking fresh - my whole under eye area tends to look phenomenal after using it. I just wish it came in a few more shades..
I bought this to go with my Kat Von D Lock It Foundation in Light 47 and Love It! My makeup stayed ALL DAY and because I was testing it I even Slept in it just to see how it would hold up (Especially for those as they call it the Walk of Shame mornings) and it still looked pretty good (especially for having slept in it). This is For Sure my NEW Go brand!

I am an oily/combo skin type so setting my makeup everyday with powder is necessary. I got the mini size as a gift and I used the whole thing pretty quickly since I use powder daily. This is the BEST powder I’ve ever used !! It is truly translucent unlike some other powders that claim to be but are actually orange. I’ve tried saving money and using drugstore loose powders but haven’t had good luck so obviously I will be purchasing this Kat Von d powder again but getting the full size!
I got this in the peach shade and it is awesome! I love it! Has a lil tint but works well if you are of medium skin tone . Its very silky and the packaging is nice as well. It is kind of expensive and the container is small but you get your money’s worth
As a olive -completed gal, loose setting powders are tough for me. Most are too pink toned and so when I saw that the petal shade was more yellow-toned I was pumped! However I was slightly disappointed— it did the job, but still gave a weird cast on my face... also, when I baked I felt that the coty airspun and Laura mercier powders did a much better job
I read amazing reviews about this product so I decided to purchase. I may not know how to use it but I feel like once I blend it's just gone and there are no remnants of it left behind. I will say it's a lovely consistency and color for me and there is A LOT of product in it. Hoping I can learn how to use it properly and get the most use out of it soon!

This setting powder is a game changer! Not only does it keep my foundation lasting all through the day, but the mica in the powder has a blurring effect which makes the finish of your foundation look more natural. It's pretty transfer proof and last quite a while even on my combination-oily skin. Just remember, you do not need a lot of this product on your brush and it works best when you apply it with pressing-motions onto your skin.
This product is just an ok product for me. For some reason this didn’t last on me and I am oily I tried this several times and on a 4 hour mark I ended up blotting, i use the same loose powder for blotting but it ended up caking my face. I tried using this also for setting under the eye it didn’t really work that well me for either especially having lines
This powder is AMAZING! You barely need to use any powder in order to achieve a smooth and photo finished look. I generally use it on my under eye to set my concealer and it works fantastically! Without it, I used to get smudges from my mascara later on in the day. With it, there is none and my under eye looks smooth all day.

I looked through Q&A and noticed term "baking" that I don't quite understand. What does it mean in the context of setting powders?
Is this good for oily skin? Does it actually work
It works perfect for the braking?
Is this powder any good?? does it look cakey at all? does it compare to the laura mercier translucent powder?
Is this worth for the price?
