Kat Von D Lock-it Setting Powder
This setting powder is a game changer! Not only does it keep my foundation lasting all through the day, but the mica in the powder has a blurring effect which makes the finish of your foundation look more natural. It's pretty transfer proof and last quite a while even on my combination-oily skin. Just remember, you do not need a lot of this product on your brush and it works best when you apply it with pressing-motions onto your skin.
I received this in a Vox Box (best box ever), and I like it! I use it to set my entire face when I use a foundation that requires setting. However, with the little bit of brightening qualities, I don't like to use it to cake under my eyes to set my concealer. It's very finely milled, but I still think my Laura Mercier powder works the best for my eyes.
This powder is just a little too drying for me. I think you would like this more if you have oily skin, but then again if you have oily skin I’d say save the extra 8 bucks and buy the laura mercier setting powder because it would smooth your skin much more. This powder is decent though. I do not use it for under my eyes cuz it dries me about a bit, but when I want to lightly set my face with a powder brush I use this product.
Ok so i have a few things to say about this concealer i personally enjoy using this setting powder for myself and i have more dry skin. This is a vey light weight translucent powder when you apply you do not see any color what so ever even that it looks like it would show some color it doesn't. The first time i used this i went a little heavy handed and was "baking" with this powder now if you do go heavy handed it will look a little dry on your skin (well it did for me anyway) this could be because i have dry skin of course. So the next time i used it i used a lighter hand and i have to say it worked out so well! Of course i did bake with this powder under my eyes and it still did look good i just had to use mousturizer right before i applied my makeup instead of when i usually apply my skincare. I find it didn't settle in any lines ,pores small areas. It really did lock in my foundation and concealer really well actually my foundation lasted even longer that day without breaking up and in this heat thats a big thing. I didn't find it sry looking in anyway i also didn't find it to change my foundation shade like some other brands tend to do. I also didn't find that it was heavy on the skin it felt very lightweight basically not even there whitch i love. You get a lot of product for the price point i love the sifter i find it very easy to use even more easy to apply with any brush the product just picks right up for me. this is one of my new favorite go to powders even beating out a very high end powder that i shall not name but was triple this price point. Great job Kat Von D and sephora love the new line cant wait to try more in the future!
I love this setting powder, it is in my top two favorite setting powders. It is very high quality but not over priced. It’s very easy to apply. I have very dry skin and this does not dry my skin out and make me look pruny/wrinkly when I bake my face. I would definitely purchase this again, I HIGHLY recommend it. Kat Von D Lock-it Setting Powder
Probably one of my favorite setting powders. I love that I don’t have any flash back when I take pix. It doesn’t leave any residue on my skin, which is a plus since I’m deeper toned. It also insured that my makeup stays put all day. I love it.
For high end setting powder either it's Laura Mercier or Kat Von D. It keeps my makeup put the whole day and I only get a little oily, but I'm someone who has a very oily complexion so that is very impressive. Make sure not to use too much because this powder dors leave a white cast in flash photography.
This is the best powder at baking under the under eyes. It sweeps away easily and makes the under eye area look flawless. I've also used it as a setting powder all over it was okay but I really just prefer to bake with it. Yes I would recommend and yes when I run out I'll most definitely repurchase!

I really love this powder! This is the best baking powder for the under Eye area. This is brightening and very smooth. I have awful circles under my eyes and this really helps to make me look more awake. I purchased the travel size and it has lasted so long! I can't believe how many application you get out of the smaller size!

Q & A
I looked through Q&A and noticed term "baking" that I don't quite understand. What does it mean in the context of setting powders?
Is this good for oily skin? Does it actually work
It works perfect for the braking?
Is this powder any good?? does it look cakey at all? does it compare to the laura mercier translucent powder?
Is this worth for the price?
