Kat Von D Lock-it Setting Powder
If I could give a lower rating than 1 star I absolutely would. This is by far the worst setting powder I’ve ever used. It dries out my skin and really brought out any texture I had. I would never recommend this to anyone!
This is the first translucent loose powder I've ever tried, I used to use an HD loose powder but sometimes it's difficult to avoid the "Casper" effect", whit the Kat Von D you don't have to care about it, and a super plus I see on this product is the natural finished it has, that depends of the foundation, setting spray, powders and other products you use on your makeup. #contest
I am absolutely obsessed with this powder. I do a full face glam nearly everyday and like to set my face and eyelids with a translucent powder. Additionally, I do a heavy bake nearly everyday and this product satisfies all of my needs. I have combination skin and this powder keeps the oil at bay. When I put it on I can literally feel it soaking up the oil and mattifying my face - amazing! It's slightly pricey compared to quality drug store brands but has lasted me nearly a year.
i have this in color: translucent. i use it to set my kvd lock it foundation as well as my kvd creme concealer. it definitely does the job. there is no flashback and it blends easily. it is prone to crease on top of a liquid or cream if you do not bake it for long enough so keep that in mine. i apply is with a beauty blender and brush it away after 15 minutes,
This loose powder is perfect for any foundation or skin type! It gives a nice soft luminous glow to the skin! It works well with the rest of her line because majority of her things are matte so this is a nice balance. The star in the center is unique and cute to get the powder out. You do get a lot for your money with this one so it's definitely something to check out if it seems right for you. I used it to bake under my eye and it really brightened it and made it look flawless!
I think this powder is not for all skin types as the packaging says, if you have a dark or medium skin tone, it may look like a ghost (not cool). This powder is also slightly yellow, which is fine if you want to rinse or highlight. Another thing is that the coverage is not so good! Personally, this powder does not do anything for me, it does not cover me, accentuates my lines of expression (I hate it) I was very disappointed because it is the first time that I don't like A product of Kat von D..

This powder was not bad. It lighter feeling than Laura Mercier (which I am very happy about that) Laura Mercier tends to be a bit drying. The only problem I had with this is it had a bit too much "sparkle" in it. If that is something you are a fan of, then I would say try this out
Best setting powder I've used. Love it and won't switch any time soon. I've used NARS, Bare Minerals, indie brands, and nothing comes close to Kats formula and consistency. You get so much powder for the price too. All of her products are amazing.
This setting powder is super excellent. It makes the makeup last for a long time, set and perfect for a flawless. I usually only set my under eye area with powder. I prefer to use my beauty blender when doing so. If I apply on other areas of my face then I use a fluffy brush and gently dust on face. Works for any skin type. It is and you can get it at sephora and ulta. #contest
I've spent so long searching for a good setting powder, and I finally found this one! I tried the tarte powder and got insane flashback in pictures, but this doesn't leave any white residue when I use it to bake. I have very fair skin, and this product works wonderfully as it has a neutral color instead of white. I don't find it to be glittery at all, even though many people seem to complain about that. Sets my under-eyes beautifully and prevents the intense creasing that I normally have.

It works perfect for the braking?
Is this powder any good?? does it look cakey at all? does it compare to the laura mercier translucent powder?
Is this worth for the price?
