I absolutely love this setting powder! It is extremely fine, it goes on very well with my powder brushes & setting powder brushes, it actually has a pleasant smell to it; funny thing is I was excited to try it out once I ordered directly from the KVD website... but once I opened it up, I was a bit worried it looked similar to my banana powders(in color). I decided to give it a whirl any ways being as finely milled and buttery soft its texture is. I was automatically hooked after the first use. At that point I got back online and purchased the larger package... and I just received a deluxe sample of it from sephora with a minimum of $25 purchase. I now have 3 of the same product, and I'm super pumped! This product has become my go-to setting powder! Id give it 10 stars if I could :)
I have been using Laura Mercier translucent powder for a while now, so when KVD launched this I had to try it. It is very fine milled with no scent and is very comparable to Laura Mercier. I love the packaging on this product and it is also universal for all skin tones. This product makes your skin look airbrushed and for the price you get a lot of product. I will continue to purchase this setting powder since it is a great.product and also great for freelancing purposes.
So far so good! I've been using this translucent powder for a week or so and I'm in love! It sets into my skin perfectly and keeps my make up in place all day/night. It's comparable to Laura Mercier's translucent powder but at a lesser price! I would definitely recommend this to anyone with normal|oily skin as an excellent setting powder.
This powder is phenomenal! I never knew I needed setting powder until I finally tried it! Talk about life changing! Especially Kat Von D’s product! My make up set beautifully, no smudges, no oil, no flashback.
I love that this powder has a slight dewy finish to it. It's perfect for dry skin or for people who want a slight glow even after their powder is on. I can't use this as an under eye setting powder because the glow of the powder makes my skin look very dry and crepey. But, other than that it's great for a loose dusting or baking anywhere else. I love it!
I recently purchased this product at my Sephora as I was told it was a natural kind of matte finish. Which is what I like. I'm not sure if it has an SPF I don't really think it does but it is very easy to apply and it works very well if you like to "bake" your concealer. They stated it works very well with Oily skin but I've got to disagree with that. My T-zone area is horrible throughout they day I have to do touch ups with it, which is one thing I did not like at all.
This is the setting powder im currently using and I love it. It's meant to be used with her lock it foundation, which is very full coverage, so it's pretty sheer, making sure it doesn't look cakey or dry. Slight sheen to it, but nothing you really notice once blended. Works well with all my other foundations as well. Highly recommend.
I was an drug store setting powder lover. You could not convince me otherwise. I said how great can other brands make them, it's just loose powder. I've tried samples of high end ones and I was never convinced they were worth it. Well I was out of powder and in Sephora for something else so I grabbed the Kat Von D setting powder. I will never go back!! It's worth the price it really is. It sets my makeup beautifully I don't even have to bake this does an amazing job on its on. Holds everything in place and doesn't clump up doesn't crease doesn't dry my skin. It's amazing

I went to Italy this past summer, and packed everything but my setting powder 😒. So naturally I had to find the nearest Sephora to prevent a glazed donut-faced mess! I couldn’t find my favorite Laura Mercier powder so decided to try the Kat Von D lockit powder. Unfortunately, I found this powder to be extremely ashey on my med-dark skin and left a horrible flashback. I opted to not use nor return it, and eventually gave it away to my very pale coworker, whom of which loves it. So if you are deeper than tan, I would kindly suggest that you look for more suitable options!
