Description

A weightless, tinted loose power that instantly brightens the under eye area according to your skintone. Brighten the under eye area according to your skintone with less weight and no cake. Lock-It Brightening Powder's innovative weightless formula brightens and smooths under-eyes to look younger and more awake. Designed to be paired with Lock-It Concealer Creme, this powder gives the under-eye area (or the whole face) an extra-bright boost. Its light-as-air texture is designed to smooth and blur the crease-prone under-eye area, proving that you actually can use loose powder around the eyes without adding texture. This versatile formula is also perfect for all-over setting, or as a soft matte highlighter. The three tinted shades contain the right balance of pigment and brightening particles to weightlessly set concealer and brighten your specific skintone: choose Petal for light skintones, Peach for medium skintones, and Golden as a universal shade that also brightens deep complexions. It is formulated Without: - Parabens - Sulfates - Phthalates #VeganAlert! Lock-Brightening Powder is completely free of animal-derived ingredients. I really wanted to love this but I just couldn’t ;( I was looking for something good and high end to brighten up my dark circles and undereye area so I thought a setting powder to specifically set and brighten my undereye concealer would be great but it didn’t really do much and i feel it was a lot of work. If it came in a lighter color it would’ve been bette (as I’m light skinned) or i should’ve just gotten the translucent but it would defeat the purpose of “brightening”. I spent too much money on this to only have used it once or twice :/ it’s too late to return now too. It’s really soft and finely milled though so easy to work with. It is a bit drying though

I really enjoy this Brightening Powder! It’s amazing when you use it in the right areas of the face and brings a subtle light to those areas. Not too bright but just perfect. Def a must buy for dryer skin also. This photo I was wearing this product. 💕

I hate that this product is discontinued :( because it’s a beautiful under eye brightener!! It’s so smooth and silky soft that it leaves a blurred appearance to the under eyes. It also gives a subtle hint of brightness without being overly bright, which I love.

This is a great product but it’s very heavy. This is definitely not something you would want to bake with or let sit under your eyes for a very long period of time. I actually stopped using it on my under eyes completely but keep in mind that I am 31 so certain powders can make my skin look much more mature than it is. As far as keeping makeup in place, it definitely does it’s job with that! If you set your whole face with this stuff, your founfation isn’t going anywhere until you take it off! I do recommend this product, I would just be careful with the under eyes at first. Make sure you try just setting concealer before you try baking with it.

Ok so I just picked this up from Sephora about a month ago when it was on sale for $15 dollars (can we say steal) and I am obsessed!! I currently have been using this every time I do my makeup, I love the golden/yellow tone which compliments my skin so well. It literally melts into your skin and makes your under eye look flawless! I don’t bake with it, I just press it into the skin and it’s so pretty. It’s finely milled and I cannot argue with the price at all. Things I don’t like is the amount of product you get which is not a lot. It also gives flashback which makes me sad but it’s not a complete deal breaker for me.

This is one of my favorite powders! I bought it when it first came out and used until the last granule fell and never repurchased but recently I found it at TJ Maxx for $2 (yes you read that right 2 United States dollars) and of course I had to buy it and I fell in love with it all over again!! It brightens but doesn’t have flashback and it doesn’t look fake either! Especially after you use a setting spray it melts right in your skin and looks wonderful!!

I just recently started using this brightening powder in the shade Petal (powder pink/brightens light skin tones.) I like to use it to set my undereye concealer and it definitely works to brighten that area. It’s a lightweight powder that doesn’t settle into fine lines or look cakey. My main complaint is that you only get 0.29 oz of product for $25! I honestly thought that they had accidentally sent me the travel size when I ordered it from Sephora. Price aside, I think that this is an excellent loose powder.

I use this to set my under eye area as well as my t-zone. For my under eyes I feel like it shows all of my fine lines and it for sure settles in them. For my t-zone I find that it keeps me matte all day long and even keeps my foundation together. It does not have a scent to it. The packaging is super cute and the holes are quite big so easy to get the product out. It is a very fine powder. Kat Von D Lock-it Setting Powder

Does anyone have a good dupe for Kat Von D Lock-it Brightening Powder? I use petal but I would love some thing a bit cheaper that's comparable! Plus I believe this is discounted :(

What am I doing wrong? I recently got this to replace my current baking powder at the exuberant recommendation of my local Sephora and when I put this on under my eyes to set my concealer or on my cheeks/nose I just wind up with a yellow streak. When I try to blend it out it literally sticks to and wipes away my foundation. I am using this with KVD Lock It foundation and concealer. I really want this to work I can tell it would look great if it weren't so visibly yellow. I even went back to inquire about getting a lighter shade and they were all like "no no no". So what the what?!?

Will this powder give flash back? Or is it good for baking how does it compare to the translucent one?
