Another impressive product by Joaquina Botánica! This essence feels so luxe and refreshing on my sensitive, rosacea prone skin. I’m typically combo skin but with the colder weather, I seem to have a flare up of rosacea. This essence has helped cool my skin down with ingredients like calendula and rose water. I use it throughout the day when my skin feels extra flushed and hot, and after applying makeup for a fresh glow.

This was my first time using an essence so it took me a minute to get used to the idea of spraying my face, but now I find it to be wonderful refreshing. This essence smells so flowery that It almost makes me not want to like it and the reason why I only gave 4 stars instead of 5. The fragrance is just so absolutely overpowering. However, it does out fast. And when I had a reaction to a new serum that made my face red and hot, I sprayed a few of this and was instantly soothed and the redness gone within minutes. Overall great product. If you can get over the overbearing smell of flowers and such. Edited to add: this does come in a somewhat heavy glass bottle.
