I have this perfume at home and I really love it. The packaging feels very luxurious and looks beautiful on my vanity. The scent is warm, rich and slightly sweet with deep notes that make it perfect for evenings. It’s has a noticeable sillage without being too strong and the projection is just right. It lasts for hours on my skin, which makes it great value for a high-end fragrance.
Jo Malone Myrrh & Tonka Cologne Intense:
Smell:
Warm, rich, and slightly sweet—think smoky myrrh mixed with creamy vanilla, almond, and tonka bean. It feels cozy, smooth, and a bit luxurious, perfect for colder weather.
Longevity:
Moderate to good—usually around 5–7 hours, though it can vary depending on skin.
Sillage (projection):
Moderate. It projects well at first, then settles into a softer, noticeable scent bubble.
Performance:
Solid overall—balanced and smooth with a nice evolution from fresh lavender into a warm, sweet dry-down, but not a powerhouse.
Price:
Expensive (around $150–$220+ depending on size), which some people feel is high for the performance.
Overall (my take):
A classy, cozy scent that smells amazing and unique—but like many Jo Malone fragrances, you’re paying luxury prices for decent (not outstanding) performance.
This fragrance feels warm, rich and incredibly comforting. Has a soft sweetness with a slightly smoky depth that’s makes it perfect for evenings or cooler days.
It’s long lasting without feeling overpowering, defensively one of the scents thats feel luxurious and timeless.
