  • "i do love jeffree stars skin frosts some are blindingly pigmented where as some can disappoint as they can feel a bit chalky i find they apply best after spraying the face with some fixing spray if u like that highlighter to pop" in 394 reviews
  • "i have peach goddess and i love it! it's good for my light skin. the pan is huge! i love the size of it because it will last forever. i like the formula, it's creamier than most pressed highlighters and disappears into the skin beautifully. this is one of my most blinding highlighters! i definitely recommend this. They come in a VERY large, plastic compact with a generously-sized mirror. The compact feels a little clunky in the hand, and the size makes it a little tricky to hold onto (I've almost dropped mine a few times now). However, I will not harp on the clumsiness of the packaging at all, because there is a very obvious reason why the compacts are so large: they hold a TON of product. You get 15 GRAMS of product (yes, FIFTEEN)! Putting that into perspective, a typical blush comes with about 6g of product, while a typical highlighter comes with about 9g of product. Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed comes with 8g of product, Anastasia Beverly Hills Illuminator comes with 9g of product, and Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder comes with 10g of product, just for reference.

In terms of the formula, it's FANTASTIC. Extremely buttery, pigmented, and blendable. Honestly, I can't say a single negative thing about it. The texture and pigmentation are very reminiscent of the Makeup Geek Foiled eyeshadows. As far as other highlighters on the market, the formula most resembles the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed in terms of the creaminess and the pigmentation, although I feel like the texture of these may be even more dense (in a good way!). With that being said, I've heard that some people have trouble getting the Becca highlighters to last on their skin all day. I've never had any issues with the longevity of either formula (Jeffree Star or Becca), but that's something you may want to keep in mind.

These highlighters are BLINDING! And after I first bought ice cold many years ago, Jeffree Star's skin frost became the only highlighters I would use. I have shades: Ice Cold, Peach Goddess, Mint Condition, King Tut, and Neffree.
Ok but let's be real. Some shades formula are different than others. Some are much more highly pigmented and creamy, while others are a lot harder to apply. Personally I have found that Ice Cold and King Tut are the creamiest and most easy to apply. They are also much more suited for everyday wear.
I know that certain colors are harder to make and each will be different but I was really hoping that each shade would be as buttery as Ice Cold and King Tut. That said- I love love love these highlights.
The pans and motions are HUGE, so you are really getting your money's worth. You can layer for a more dramatic highlight or apply with a light hand for something much more subtle.
*MOST IMPORTANTLY* Jeffree's Skin Frosts are not glittery much like other brands: Anastasia, etc. This is the main reason I feel so strongly about them.

This is a very good highlighter. I have about 10 which is alot, but its a pretty good formula. Whether you're into funky colors or everyday neutral highlighters, JS has a skin frost for you. The pan us huge! So you get alot of product for $29 & the mirror in the compact can be used as a good on the go mirror to do your makeup in. This highlighter is very metallic & has a certain texture thats hard to describe. Would recommend applying with a denser highlighting brush because the consistency is very thick & using a flimsy brush doesnt give a very good application. Downsides to the skin frost is that hard pan can develop over the highlighter (its still usable, but annoying) & the size. For the price, the size is good because there are alot of brands with highlighters half the size & $10-$15 more. But unless you use it everyday, & don't own other highlighters, you're never gonna get through it. I recommend but purchase 1 or 2 you know you'd use on a regular basis if you're looking to actually get through an entire skin frost. I would watch Beauty News' video on how many swatches it takes to get through an entire skin frost.

love the brand, love the highlighter and here’s why: 1) jeffree really cares about his products and customers. he takes pride into his brand and spends hours trying to produce quality makeup. i’ve always been a huge fan and it’s mainly because of the passion he has! he loves highlights so he puts a lot of thought and work into them 2) you can’t get any better in terms of highlight. it’s so pigmented and you don’t need a lot to get the color you want. 3) it’s versatile! you can use as a shimmer eyeshadow and it looks great on your eye. 4) more high end and costs more but you don’t lose. it usually retails for about 30ish bucks 5) if you buy, buy from his cosmetics page. lately people have been selling fake makeup and they often don’t have the same ingredients. 6) speaking of ingredients: Vegan. Cruelty-Free. Talc Free. Paraben & Gluten-Free. that’s amazing! 7) the finish is so natural andflattering on the skin and you’ll looks so radiant.
just buy it already!!!!!

I love both Jeffree and Manny MUA so when they did a collab I almost died. I ordered the OG skin frost from theircollection, Eclipse, because I loved the color and thought it would work perfectly for my skin tone. First let me start by saying the packaging of this is to die for. The quality of the entire component shows that Jeffree truly cares about the quality of his products. The highlight looked great and it swatched really well. The only reason I’m not giving it the full 5 stars is because I noticed a lot of glitter fall out. I would use it when finishing my makeup and I would see glitter all over my face and the component. Don’t get me wrong it’s definitely gave me the iconic Jeffree Star highlight and the color is gorgeous, but it was just a lot of glitter for me. I’m not sure if his other highlighters have just as much glitter, but I’m not opposed to trying more of them.

Review for: King Tut more...
I loved Jeffree Star since the beginning of his music career, and almost went to see him in 2009 Warped Tour (parents thought I was too young sadly), however when I heard he released a brand, I was stoked. The first item I purchased was the King Tut Skin Frost. When it first arrived, I was completely shocked by the size of the pan. I know the product was 15g, but MAC highlighters are normally 10g so I thought it would be around that size. It had a beautiful logo stamped into the skin frost and I was so hesitant to swatch it and ruin the stamp but I was dying to get it on my face. I swatched it and my finger was COATED in product. It was opaque! I swatched it on my wrist and HOLY CRAP, does this stuff catch attention! It smells good, gives off a super pigmented look, and doesn’t have that chunky glitter look. I have bought 3 different shades since purchasing King Tut: Uranus, Eclipse, and So F*cking Gold. Only highlighter I use anymore!

In my own opinion, I love Jeffree Star and his products. He definitely goes above and beyond when it comes to...well everything. These highlighters are no joke. I love that there are so many colors and they are so highly pigmented (in a highlighter sense). They packed a lot of shine into these! I do love them however they can be a bit "chunky" and can "ball up" on the skin if you don't layer them little by little. So kick of that excess powder, girl! Build it up gradually and try applying it with a beauty sponge to have it really melt into your skin and look flawless! Peach Goddess is my favorite right now. If you're not keen on spending the money on one, wait until he has a sale (usually around holidays) and go in for one to try it out. ALSO YES, the pan size is absolutely HUGE. Definitely worth the money!  Jeffree Star Skin Frost

I have the shade Siberian gold and I admire Jeffree and his brand but the formula on this was not what I was expecting considering the hype. The highlighter was chunky, difficult to blend, and quite glittery. The shade was great for me but the formula wasn’t as great. The staying power is incredible. It gets hard pan easily. I will say it has a nice shine and the packaging is awesome with a great mirror as well as a lot of product for the price too. I hope to be able to try his improved formula but this one for me was a no go. I did recommend to another friend and she bought nearly every shade. Overall just wish it wasn’t as chunky.

LOVE this highlighter! I live for a blinding soft formula! I own the color Siberian gold and it is so versatile! I have light skin and it looks stunning on me, one of my friends have a deeper more tan complexion and it looks stunning on her as well! Beautiful on multiple skin tones! Very soft formula, not chunky. I feel it applies better with my finger instead of a brush but that's only because I like a lot of product on my face when it comes to highlight. A little pricey but 10/10 will buy again!

This highlight is amazing! The pigment is there, the product amount is there, and the quality is there. Jeffree Star knows exactly what he's doing with his makeup line. I love how much thought he puts into his products, it shows how much he actually cares about what he's putting out. It gives you so much product, I've been on my first one for 2 years now. I don't use it everyday though, but I have barely made a dent in it. And you only need a tiny bit to give yourself a blinding glow. I love it! Would definitely recommend!

I have been dyinggg to get my hands on Jeffree Star's skin frosts. I'm not quite sure which shade would go best with my pale complexion, but I have had my eyes expecially on Peach Goddess. Would love to hear some reviews on this product!
