Jacobs Creek pump out incredible volumes of incredibly low quality wine. I guess if you don't know what to choose then a big supermarket brand is a safe choice, and for the money it's reasonable, but it lacks any depth of aroma or complexity on the now and the taste is harsh and cheap. There are some great Chardonnay examples in supermarkets for less than a tenner that are so much better
