2 reviewsOkay, so another inside groomer tip...evening primrose oil y'all!!!! Cannot express how good this smells and how beneficial it is to dog coats of all kinds. The only thing to be aware of is on dogs like yorkies with a coat similar to pie hair, apply only a little spray to your hands and work through, or else the coat can look a little wet (not greasy however). We use this in huge amounts on dogs like older Labradors who seem to generate a ridiculous amount of white flecky dandruff when we brush them out pre bath. Then when almost dry we spray and massage in to let magic oil sooth and help the skin, while helping to remove the existing flakes during the dry process. Once again before they leave, and they look like MAGIC. Evening promise oil from isle of dogs ensures I get excellent tips🤗
I use this lightly on the coat after bathing to make brushing much easier and it helps detangling and getting any mats that have formed easily combed out. No more tugging or hurting the dog. It also gives the coat added protection when blow-drying.
