While exploring potential projects during an electrician consultation, we discussed changing out our recessed flood lights. He mentioned “retrofitting” them, but wanted to charge $700 just to change 6 in the kitchen, with a total of 20 flood lights around the house. Went to Lowe’s and found this option, which has been a big money-saving blessing. Setup to essentially be swapped out as you would a light, the retrofitted light just screws into the already-present light socket and you just use the included poles to help set it in place. It took me close to 2 hours to change them all out and it looks amazing. You also get 6 lighting temperatures to choose from, another great feature.
