Product Description

One choice can transform you or it can destroy you. But every choice has consequences, and as unrest surges in the factions all around her, Tris Prior must continue trying to save those she loves and herself while grappling with haunting questions of grief and forgiveness, identity and loyalty, politics and love. Tris's initiation day should have been marked by celebration and victory with her chosen faction; instead, the day ended with unspeakable horrors. War now looms as conflict between the factions and their ideologies grows. And in times of war, sides must be chosen, secrets will emerge, and choices will become even more irrevocable and even more powerful. Transformed by her own decisions but also by haunting grief and guilt, radical new discoveries, and shifting relationships, Tris must fully embrace her Divergence, even if she does not know what she may lose by doing so. New York Times bestselling author Veronica Roth's much-anticipated second book of the dystopian Divergent series is another intoxicating thrill ride of a story, rich with hallmark twists, heartbreaks, romance, and powerful insights about human nature. see more...

The Divergent series is AMAZING and this book is not any different. The plot is so well thought-out and developed at a pace that is enjoyable to read, where there's just enough suspense to keep you on your toes, and it's not slow where you're too bored to keep going. Love the character development and inclusion of new characters and side stories. These books just get better and better. I also recommend watching the movies after you've read the books! They are just as good and did justice to the story.

Like the first one, this book was well written and is extremely engaging. the book develops at a pace that is comfortable and natural so you don't feel as though you are being rushed through the book and you can really see the characters and the relationships develop and change. i would highly suggest reading this series and having book three before you finish book 2.

Not as good as the first book! However it is very entertaining! You can stop reading it though if you wanted! At times it can be confusing! Other than that the ending of this book makes you interesting in allegiant!

Good book, but it did get boring in parts. I haven't bothered reading the third because of this.

It's been a while since I read this book, but I still remember how disappointed I was in it. There were parts that were good, don't get me wrong. But the whole thing was...dry. It lacked the energy and fast paced that the first book, Divergent, had. I understand that this was a necessary sequel, to fill in the information needed to write Allegiant which was much better. But I still think this book could've been better.

Dumb. This is just crap. Why are these books so popular. It follows an annoying main character who is to messed up about being different to be helpful and a love interest that is to into himself and his issues to be useful and a load of conflict that is pointless.

I really liked the 1st book, the 2nd was ok, and the 3rd book just crashed and burned for me. The 3rd book was written terrible and was hard to keep reading it took me almost 6 months to finish not because I am a slow reader but because I would read a little bit and get board. I would recommend reading the 1st and 2nd books but skip the 3rd and have someone who read the books tell you the ending.

This was my favorite of the divergent series. We really get this see how messed up everything is and how much tris has to go through to get her world back. There's a huge twist given in this book as well. The writing is great. It's an easy read but not childish. I thorough enjoyed every sentence!

This book picks up right after the events that happen in divergent I love that you can still see the development a each character and the romantic story between Four and Tris is even strong this one is filled with even more action but this time it out side of there fraction you see Tris as more strong and independent but this is also were she starts being reckless and not caring about here self but rather know the truth.
