I love to cook and love trying new recipes, My husband and I are big foodies. I had a friend recommend me getting one (even though I had already been thinking about it just procrastinating until I had more cabinet space after a kitchen remodel) Welp I did not wait, and I am glad I didn't. I have a stove top pressure cooker to make my familie's colombian style beans and that takes me total cooking time about 1hr 10 mins and that is using the pressure cooker and a different pan to make the sofrito (herbs, spices, and tomato mix). With the instant pot it took me 35 minutes total (including the soaking of beans and saute of the sofrito. I love that I can use the same pot for sauteing and pressure cooking. I have used it 3 times just this week and plan on using it again tomorrow for some salmon and asparagus. It has quickly cut down my cooking times on days that I am at the gym late. My husband and I both appreciate that! :) I got mine at Williams & Sonoma (online) for a sale price of $99.95. I would definitely recommend the 6 quart for a 4-5 person family. I will say I purchase my first one from Walmart (5quart Lux) and the top was damaged.  Their customer service took 4 weeks to respond to me so I just returend it to Walmart without an issue. Always inspect it before using it, if there are any damage even the
slightest nick get another one as pressure cookers have to be able to
seal completely! I am still learning how to use it and having alot of fun with it!

This is the best product I have bought in a long time.  This saves me so much time when cooking good, healthy meals for my family.  We are a family of 5 and this makes meal time and meal prep so easy and effortless.  I have tried many different recipes and they all have turned out perfect.  It is a little intimidating at first, but got over that pretty quickly.  It is easy to use, the instructions are helpful and there are endless tutorials and recipes on the internet.  My favorite is a chili-lime chicken that is cooked from frozen in less than 15 minutes.  I have also done a dozen boiled eggs, pizza pasta, white bean chili, and regular chili.

I am guilty of buying all sorts of new kitchen gadgets, using them a couple times and the relegating them to our basement kitchen appliance graveyard. This product is not one of those! This product gets used regularly and is an absolute lifesaver in in the kitchen. I use this several times a week - anything from beans, chickpeas, to oatmeal, and soup - this is so incredibly easy to use. I would highly recommend using this, especially if you are someone who has any sort of dietary restriction or just want to save money on things that you buy from cans/etc. I love this machine and it will definitely not be sent to the graveyard!

I am planning to win over the pickiest eater with my new toy! There are no more excuses for not cooking when this 7-function helper can do so much with little planning or food preparation. Feeding 5 people on a whim can create midweek headaches and this is going to save my life! I'm already planning on stocking up on freezer meals, making a whole chicken and serving lasagna for my dad's New Years birthday! #contest

What can I say that hasn't been said before? I love this thing. I have the 8 quart version, and I use it at least once a week. It makes enough food for my husband and I to have leftovers for multiple days, which especially great for meal prepping. The saute mode and pressure cook work perfectly, but I haven't yet tried the slow cook function. After you learn how to use it, the toughest part of using the pot is decided what recipe to use. XD
I bought this on sale during Black Friday, but honestly after using it, I've been recommending it to friends pretty much all the time.

As a busy working Momma of three this product is sent from Heaven. Cooks dinner so fast! Will make anything and everything - from roasts to soup to dessert! On days when my Mommy brain gets the best of me, and I forget to take a meat out of the freezer- the instant pot saves the day! Any meat right out of the freezer cooks so tender and so fast! I can chose what I want to eat just 30 min before I plan to serve dinner. This product is found at lost retailers and certainly attainable online. Everyone should own one- makes dinner quick, easy and delicious #contest @influenster #giftcrush

This my favorite appliance on my countertop. I use it for making rice, soup, chili, gumbo, etc. It truly is multi-functional. Lately I've been using it to make rice. I think it's faster than a regular rice cooker.

To make jasmine rice: I place 2 cups of washed rice into the pot, add water to the 2 line, set to manual at 4 minutes, and make sure the top is turned to pressure cooking, After 4 minutes I wait an additional 10 (or more) minutes before serving. Bon appetite!

My husband and I originally received the 3 qt duo for Christmas from my parents and let it sit in the box and become our cats chair for months because we were so intimidated by it. I finally decided to research what it was and how to use it and decided the 6qt was more ideal for our needs. We exchanged the 3qt for the 6qt about a month ago and it’s been the best decision we ever made! It makes weeknight dinners a breeze and everything has been amazing! I’ve become so obsessed that I join an instant pot community on Facebook and spend hours searching new recipes! We have corned beef in the pot now because it was so amazingly easy and yummy! I definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys cooking and cooking with ease! I already want another to use for sides and desserts when our main meal is cooking.

I absolutely love my instant pot. I originally learned about them when i did whole30. This stuff is a saving grace. No longer need my separate slow cooker and rice cooker which took up space because this does it all and even makes yogurt. This makes the best boiled eggs also. What i love about it is the timer so i dont have to worry about it being on while i am sleeping or I am at work.
If only they had one of these in THIS IS US!

I have had my instant pot for a month & it gets better with each use. Initially it was very intimidating but the more familiar a become the easier it gets. It makes the best meats in small amounts of time. I had a hard time finding an 8qt in stock. The 8qt is a must for my family of 4. If you like your crock pot, you'll love this. Talk to people who have one to ease your fears & watch the YouTube videos to explain how it works.

Just bought a instant pot. What is the easiest thing to cook in it. Can it cook pork chops?
