I’ve been using the Revolution R180 Connect toaster for a while now and overall I’m really happy with it. The toaster works great and the touchscreen makes it super easy to dial in the exact level of toast you want. It heats evenly and consistently, which already makes it better than most toasters I’ve owned. One thing I especially love is using it with the Toastie Press. If you like making grilled sandwiches or pressed toasties, it works really well with this toaster and turns out great every time. It’s probably the feature I use the most. My only gripe, and the reason I’m giving it four stars instead of five, is the way some of the features are handled with Connect Plus. When I bought the toaster, I didn’t realize that by not getting Connect Plus you miss out on a bunch of additional bread presets and things like the photo frame option for the screen. Since those are clearly just software features, it feels a little frustrating that they’re locked behind an extra $50 upgrade. That said, the toaster itself is excellent and performs really well. If you’re okay with the limited presets, or plan to get Connect Plus, it’s still a great appliance and I’ve definitely enjoyed using it.
Ok, so. This toaster is like a space ship on my counter when it comes to toasters. I didn’t think a toaster could have as many options as they do, yet a alone a touch screen. I’m talking, all I’ve used my entire life is your push down, maybe 5 settings that is either not toast or burnt, really no in between; type toaster that fling your slices couple feet in the air on the doneness the toaster feels you should have today; while giving slight anxiety attack as in a Jack In The Box Circus Toy prepared your breakfast. So this was something out of Back To The Future for me (puts shades on while pushing button to watch toast drop). With that said, is it cool that I can see date/ time /weather, ya. It makes a cute little chime when it’s done. So my washing machine and toaster can know perform duets as the kitchen and laundry are close to one another. However, down to the brass tax of it all,
It’s a toaster. And with all the bells and whistles, it really can’t toast that great. It’s like taking a Lamborghini to go check fields (I farm, BTW). I mean, ya, it’s gets the job done and works but is it really that functional for the price point to get a simple job done. I’m going to go, no. It is a beautiful toaster and has become a talking point at coffee. So I will give it a gold star for that. Touchscreen shows fingerprints so it matches the microwave nicely. It has a lot of options for making things from griddled sandwiches to warming baked goods. I haven’t tested my smoke alarm in a couple months, so I might give the grilled cheese function a whirl. It even has a crumb detection feature for when the tray becomes full, which is a nice feature. I’m sure it’s not recommended to lift upside down and shake vigorously over a sink either. So kudos for that functionality alert. It’s a really nice toaster, however for the price point, it should make me a side of bacon also.

I got this complimentary from Revolution Cooking. This toaster is great! The touchscreen is very responsive. It can connect to Wi-Fi and display the time, date, and weather. I like seeing the images of how dark the bread can be toasted. My toast came out perfectly toasted and it did not take long!
